Man this trial is going to be the meltdown of the century, the difference between the real evidence and what the mass media presented to the uninformed masses is just too harsh. Combine that with the sainthood that has been bestowed upon Big Floyd, we'll see chimpouts of epic proportions.
Accelerationism gang assemble!

On a side note, can anyone with a high IQ in normie psychology explain how it comes Floyd is regarded as such a saint? I mean it's a shame he died, but any cursory glance into his life reveals he was a piece of shit, so what's with the retarded murals of angel-winged GF and so on?
He's black. They view black people as if they have the ability to do no wrong. Like they don't understand the concept of good or evil, or they lack the ability to do evil or even understand it at all.

You know, like how we view animals

I think the family is happier that he is dead, now that they are fucking set for life. Pretty sure they are keeping up the image that they are sad for more gibs, but on the inside they must be fucking happy to not only get rid of a druggie asshole, but also get millions cause some cop "Killed him"

Wonder how many more "floyds" we are gonna get in the coming years, hoping to get millions out of it
What "family" tho? IIRC the nigga had 5 kids with like 5 different baby mommas. Wonder if those ever see a dime.

Just because it can be used, does not mean people have never had serious medical complications from this technique. A quick search would pull up dozens of cases of death or people going unconscious.

If its implied to be perfectly harmless, thats not necessarily the case.
I think people are forgetting that 'sometimes dangerous' can't equal 'depraved indifference'.
All these theories seem to be proceeding under the idea that the prosecution has the same burden the defense has.
'Could have happened' also contains 'could have not happened' AKA 'reasonable doubt.

Basically Racism, but thats accepted and ok to everyone for some fucking reason.

As far as I can tell, all you need is the coroner's toxicology report, which would actually help the defense by saying that Floyd was.chimping out on drugs and he had to be restrained. But his heart couldn't really take the strain of decades from drug abuse and that day was the last straw.

Now the neck angle would have worked if we had a few vertebrae cracked, though.
The issue for Chauvin is, if the prosecution successfully argues that but for the knee Floyd would have lived you could easily identify this as criminal homicide. Due to people telling Chauvin to get off of Floyd it could be argued he acted recklessly as to whether Floyd lives or dies. Which would then require an argument about police technique and appropriate application of it.

While I think the toxicology report is hard to deal with the prosecution, I think it even stopping short of it outright saying "these drugs killed Floyd" leave this case up in the air.

I'm sitting at 50/50 here. It could go either way.

Policework has to be one of the worst imaginable. The work is dull 99% of the time and goes lethal in a split-second 1% of the time. You deal with the worst dregs of the society on a daily basis. You can't arrest the people who force more and more paperwork on you each year. You try to think for yourself and you're fired for disobeying orders. You do everything by the book and you're fired anyway if anything goes south. Christ.

When you're dealing with a muscular thug tripping on whatever-the-fuck designer drug is popular now, there really isn't any other way but to pin him flat to the ground just in case he decides to bash his head into the pavement.

No wonder there are so many dumb psychos in the force. When robots get good enough policemen will be the first to be replaced by them as it will save a ton of headaches IMO. Armchair Batmans will be able to scream at a robot when it kills somebody during arrest and no one will care.
