Jesus man, I like this kid after watching him put up with this inane line of questioning for nearly 3 hours, but what's the point? What is the prosecution trying to prove here? I think the facts are fairly well-established via video, so I don't see what his testimony adds as a cashier at Cup Foods. Please educate me, @AnOminous. I'm trying hard to watch this trial from the perspective of a juror and I just feel like the last couple of hours have been a waste of time.

This is some weird strategy by the prosecution.
Legit the only strategy they have is emotional pleas. "Man, if I get like, thirty black retarded attention whores talking about systematic oppression and crying on the bench, we might be able to get somewhere" - Which, by far, is the dumbest fucking plan ever.

For real. The kid worked at the store and saw George Floyd. We get it. What does this have to do with the cops who are just NOW showing up in the line of questioning?

Edit: No further questions!? What was the fucking point of this?

20% of Americans use twitter, only 10% of them make up 80% of their tweets.

Your "big points" are literally only happening in liberal strongholds, nowhere else in the US.

Learn to properly analyze data, retard.
I have no idea why you are zeroing in on Twitter when I was speaking of internet social media broadly. Only 20% of people use Twitter? Well that's interesting, around 23% of Americans read a newspaper, and 50% of them watch TV news, and TV news is pretty much all about what people are saying on Twitter or inspired by Twitter influencers.
Learn how to actually live in the real world, retard.

It's hard to disagree. I don't how any group on Twitter can defend this guy:

Commies - Dude is a violent felon who robs preg women and legit did a side job helping out feds rat out people. Never did labor and would plague the working class.
Blacks - Dude rat out other niggas to the feds and was going around your hood dropping fake cash and tweaking out everywhere. He never did shit for black people or his family.
Trannies - Floyd prob would call your programming socks faggy and make fun of you nonstop calling you a cum sucking queer.
Whites and any other ethnicity - lol nigger
I work in law in a big American city. It's widely known (but not talked about much) that black judges and attorneys are the most brutal to black defendants. A white judge will give a guy his 6th chance, a black judge won't, especially black women judges.

That's also like saying "only 0.01% of people in America are TV anchors." Yeah, we know. It's still broadcast, setting narratives, and controlling agendas.
I don't understand why people don't get this: they are not the consensus, they are the ones who set the consensus.
Most people in the USA aren't viewing or posting on Twitter. They don't give a rat's ass about what a bunch of dangerhairs post there. if anything they're on Facebook or more likely, Instagram. Just because X media outlet posts "ZOMG look at all these Tweets saying Chauvin should be drawn and quartered in the Washington Mall the USA demands it!!!" doesn't make it true.

I can do it for you. The prosecution knows they are fucked for proving Chauvin is the one who did Floyd in. The coroner report is damning. So they are appealing to emotion, trying to overload the jury with feels.

The problem is their witnesses aren't... really good.

I do also feel bad for this dude kinda, basically its nothing but "I saw it happen and felt guilty and shit" and "Floyd seemed high" as well as the fake bill, which can all easily be skipped and just watching the cam footage

I saw a clip on ABC yesterday where one of the presenters was saying "That's why it's so important that the jury was asked questions like 'what is your opinion of the BLM movement?' and other similar questions at selection," leading me to believe that in fact, no, the jury will probably not be unbiased.
Imagine this being the 20th century, and the trial was about the death of a Black man and the jury is asked their opinion on the KKK.

Honestly, the SJWs should be satisfied that this absolute farce of a trial may act as a catalyst for revision of restraint guidelines, because that would at least potentially save a few lives down the line if speedballing and consequently being a volatile criminal idiot becomes trendy

As pointed out earlier upthread, there is no restraint method that is zero-risk. All a restraint policy can try to do is minimize risk, but only in the context of balancing that risk between the parties involved.

Every restraint technique is a trade-off, strong restraints make sure the officers and bystanders are safe but may present risk to the suspect. Very loose restraints may be lower risk for the suspect, but less effective and allow for harm to come to officers or bystanders or even the suspect. Remember that suspects may be trying to harm themselves or others, and human restraint is challenging in any circumstance, particularly in one on one encounters.

Historically, the restraint question has been resolved in favor of presenting less risk to the officers and bystanders. The logic being that the suspect, by trying to inflict harm or noncompliance with commands to get in the squad car has created the situation requiring restraint and thus accepts the higher level of risk in it's resolution. Shifting that burden creates a higher risk for potential harm to uninvolved bystanders and police.

Consider also that if police are barred from using physical body restraints, or feel that the restraint allowed would not be effective or practical then the only option police will have is to use their weapon belt. They may be put in a position where they have to use their Taser or their pistol to neutralize the suspect's potential to cause harm. Ironically, removing physical restraint options to minimize harm may lead to a higher frequency of fatal encounters.

And yet another witness from the prosecution is adding cracks to their own case.

"He was already high"

"He took more to hide it"

OD is more and more likely.

Yet Chamberlain cow towed to Hitler you sped..

I never said that everyone in America is viewing Twitter. I said the internet is the largest part of people's lives. I also pointed out that 50% of Americans get their news from TV, and TV news is controlled by people obsessed with Twitter, going so far as to use Twitter as a primary source for their stories. Online news also does this, but every other media has a legitimizing effect on social media platforms. This isn't even really debatable, people complain about how blatant it is all the time.
"Nobody cares about the social media platforms I hate" is such a faggoty battlecry of old-internet weirdos. I don't like Twitter either, but pretending like it doesn't have an influence, or that you need a broad consensus to get anything done in the country, is actually depressingly stupid.

Correct, Correct, Correct.

Jesus this guy has patience.

I think the family is happier that he is dead, now that they are fucking set for life.
They'll be broke within a few years. There's what, six kids, six baby mommas, brothers, sisters and parents all to get paid
