I don't think hes crying about what happened with the officers, I think hes crying because he feels like hes responsible in some way that Floyd was fucking nuts. Right before we cut he mentions his mother, so maybe this just brings up bad memories for him really.

He genuinely seemed like he actually wanted to help as he was telling Floyd to calm the fuck down and behave.

LMAO THE FUCKING CROCODILE TEARS
…or is racial solidarity among blacks really that strong? Imagine if whites had this emotional reaction to any injustice done against them by outsiders.
It's worth appreciating that not everybody is a hardened internet edgelord watching liveleak videos of ISIS executions on the daily, most people don't have the disposition to handle seeing a violent death occur right in front of them

Edit: By "violent death" i'm not referring to Chauvin's actions, moreso how Floyd spent his last minutes screaming/calling out to his mother, i'm sure that most witnesses would consider this a traumatic event regardless of who they think is responsible

yeah this. Georgie calling out to his mom probably hit something. I can think of similar reactions ive had to other things.

Totally agree. Even the kid blaming himself for not accepting the bill. You feel like a catalyst for one of the biggest things that happened this past year.
Of course the media is portraying it that he’s sad about what the cops did

Dude comes off as someone whose probably not very smart, to say the least, who saw something horrific and it hit a chord with him. It... doesn't really damn Chauvin though, especially given it sounds like he was trying to diffuse the situation by appealing to Floyd.

True that, but what we just saw was just Floyd being manhandled and not his "violent death", I'm honestly at a loss at how this video clip could be a tear jerker.
edit: rewatched, missed the part with him crying for his mom, damn that's harsh especially if you know what comes next. really common for ODing too, Floyd was literally already dying
