White supremacists and black gangs question - Is there a connection?

So I've been wondering about this for some time now.

From what little I know and understand during the affirmative action era there were alot of black power groups. The most famous being black panthers.

What I heard was the black panthers were killing off black gangs. Cleaning up the hood.

So that got me thinking.

Did black gangsters of that era cut a deal with white racist politicians? Did they join forces against these black power groups? I mean black gangs get to be in charge of the hood and the racists of that era would get help shooting down black emancipation.

Help me here. Educate me on this.

I'm not at all familiar with the history here, but I suspect that the most the white supremacist politicians of that era did was allow the two groups to fight it out. If the black people are killing each other, they're less likely to mobilize on the scale necessary to get things done, which is good for the politicians.

Im just guessing out of sake of survival the gangsters reached out to the racists of that era and the racists with power accepted the alliance cause it would stop the uppity negro movement. Which what racists of that era would've wanted. I guess the deal is let us do as we please and we'll help you suppress those upstarts

I wish, that would be a great conspiracy. I think the real story might be that kids grow out of being gang members and it's hard to stay in a gang if you're in and out of prison for gang banking. After the New Deal (FDR) I don't think there were that many racist petitions left especially in nice cities where they let blacks roam around unattended. Just doesn't track.

My bust guess is that the Panthers got law degrees and became Kimberlé Crenshaw and Barack Obama.

You're putting too much thought into it. The answer is simply ignorance and a cultural zeitgeist that rewards it. Most Americans don't know the nuance in history, black Americans least of all because their schools were so terrible and the teachers themselves are against critical thinking. All they know is Kennedy pardoned MLK and Johnson started the free gibs and that's all they care about. They don't look into anything, they don't care about any politician's past because their votes have been bought and payed for by taxpayer's money. Simple as that.

To illustrate my point, here's a story with a side of powerlevel. In high school I took some classes in A/V production. One project we had was to interview members of "student societies" (fucking clubs). One group was assigned what was called the Key Club, but really was supposedly about diversity and inclusion. So niggers. Oh, there was a dune coon as well. Anyway, while the members of that group put the project together, one thing they bitched about was that we only learned about white people in History class. When the interviewer asked which black figures they'd like to learn about other than MLK, they didn't have an answer and simply said "We don' wanna hear 'bout Abraham Lincoln!" So, there you have it.

Their schools aren't terrible enough that they can't learn anything, it's the people in them that are the problem. Them being forced to go by the government is a major reason why it's terrible. If the street niggers in school could be released from school and roam around commiting crimes like they desire then the people who want to learn would be able to. But a majority of the students absolutely hate school and spend class talking and doing niggerly shit like being a public nuisance. Even after 250 years of being in the U.S. they're still spear chuckers at heart.
