As mentioned, she did tweet against J.K Rowling last year, but I'm not sure what her stance against troons is now. Paulson's a lesbian though so maybe she got tired of these people acting like they're part of her "community":
I knew they would attack her elderly girlfriend. I thought that liberal/stan Twitter loved both of them because they were both "proud lesbians" and a seemingly loving couple. It's amusing to see how something as petty as simply saying that you won't put pronouns in your Twitter profile would make people turn on you. So much for "acceptance".

Sperg moment but the Neopets staff decided to finally remove LGBTQIA++++XYZ shit from their banned word filters awhile ago, so now people can be open about their queer genderfluid Neopets or whatever. I feel like if this was a decade ago I probably would've celebrated non-offensive words like "gay" being allowed (I remember people would be banned for even implying they had a gay character on the roleplay boards?) but IIRC it was troon shit that pushed them to lift this ban.

I've been playing it for over half my life, on and off on different accounts, I made my account around the second year of its existence. "Gender Identity" isn't some Gnostic gift delivered unto each little boy or girl; it mostly doesn't exist, at best it has a nominal existence in the sense that you can say "I am a boy," but this denotes nothing deeper than some ordinary motivation to say that utterance.

There's something really quite spooky in how obvious contagion and the parents' beliefs played in condemning the child. Particularly, because it is very plausible that the kid is not even particularly effeminate or going to be gay, the thread doesn't mention anything about dolls or anything like that, just long hair and not wanting to get your hair cut is common for young boys.
And, it's horrific how deep down the hole he is. A true, pious believer in all the fictions: puberty blockers as "safe" (unknown), "reversible" (unknown and socially not true) and that they "buy time" (nonsense). Genuinely believes in the gnosis of gender; that somehow a child can "just know" something. A child that probably didn't even really understand "gender" as a (supposedly -- in actual fact, any stability is incidental; religious beliefs are pretty stable, but you aren't neuroanatomically Catholic) stable property of an individual.
Evidence for this is... uhh... a bunch of poorly designed internet surveys. The default hypothesis is that children who aren't "affirmed" aren't that badly off, provided you offer therapy and support to help them navigate their desires etc.
Kids who's "identities aren't supported" do perfectly fine, along with kids who get told the Easter bunny isn't real despite them wanting him to be. Its called growing up and dealing with life
