Is this the EMS crew?

I've never seen an olive drab EMS uniform and the guy on the left seems like he's wearing soft armor if you look at the way his shirt creases around his right side and upper back.
Welcome to "I am EMS in a major, primarily black city". Getting shot at is fairly common especially in lower income areas and gang zones.
 
IDK why, maybe it's internal bias, but this attorney is slightly more bearable with his questions.

That's just Hennepin County EMS. Tbh they do look a bit LARPy.

Yes. Witnesses are often coached on how to conduct themselves on the stand. Ostensibly, you are not allowed to tell a witness what to say but you can run over what questions you intend to ask and what questions the other side will likely ask.

Yes, they pretty much know what the prosecution will ask before they get on the stand. It's just good prep work, and you can make sure the witness understands what they can elaborate on and stuff. Maybe they realized they SHOULD be prepping more witnesses after half of them got surly.
