General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I don't watch anime, could someone be kind as to point out who the character in my avatar is.
Just and OC, don't steal character.

Considering Japan doesn’t really do April Folls Day, it’s kinda neat seeing some of the Vtubers participate.
Japan participate in April fool just like it participate in Christmas and Halloween. They don't know what it's actually about, but they realized they can use it as an excuse to fuck around.

To be fair, April 1st isn't really "about" anything. It's not like it's a religious holiday or something. It's just a tradition that people prank each other on that day. That's literally all there is to it.

The EN collab was great because for once it felt like Kiara wasn't trying to fill every possible minute of dead air with her voice.
Also because it wasn't her hosting the stream, her volume was at the same level as the other girls. I hope we'll see the other girls hosting future collabs until it's her turn again.

Weirdly satisfying watching Ame using the smoll ame rig.
Walfie and his drawings has been such a part of her fandom. Props to him to 'get' this.

Id say it was more the fact that the other girls felt more comfortable to speak/participate so kiara didn't have to force herself to fill the silence.

I watched the VOD because Calli streams are always at an ungodly hour for me, and I think its the first time I've heard Calli showing an emotion other than boredom during a collab.
Felt weird.
She was oddly fitting in her collab with Rikka to the point that some of her idiots in the art tag had to put in big bold letters that they were not shipping them because the brain deads were getting annoying already, JP bros were oddly happy that their boi was getting the recognition he deserve

Seriously? I get Tokyo ghoul? God damn it.

Oh good. I can actually watch this one later while I’m stuck late at work today.
I forgot to say this last week, but I actually laughed and like the Jimmy Neutron reference in the title.

Today's EN collab has definitely been the most fun for me yet. None of the girls were stealing each other's spotlight, and it feels like they were at their best despite the usual issues plaguing the EN talents. I've had quite a few laughs from watching the VOD.

Honestly didn't expect Jackbox to be featured. Nice surprise.

Idk it feels like most of the EN girls come off as awkward unless they're around specific members.
Kiara and Mori vibe well.
Ame and Gura have prior chemistry.
Ina seems more of a loner.

Why was the chicken's Walfie so scuffed? The lines are blurry while the other 4 are crisp. Hers also spins in a jank way, unlike the rest. Does he just not like her? Or maybe he forgot to make hers and had to rush.
1. The first one he worked one and it was all janky and shit until he figured out what he was doing and all the others came out better.
2. It was the last one he worked on and just cut a few corners.
3. He hates Kiara
4. Something to do with Kiara's shitty connection only allowing her model to show up in 460p.

Pick whichever one you want to go with.

I had to explain on discord and i suppose i should post it here, but people asked me why Ame in her superchat reading just stay there silent for hours, and headbanging sometimes, and is because the thing is mostly her vibing to the bubb4bot i think there is some kind of rule that she cant link it on her channel so yeah if you dont have the channel is mostly silence and she sometimes talking

I think it's both column A and B. Kiara in her own streams has admitted that she's worried being too silent wouldn't be very entertaining and one of the reasons she admires Pekora so much--to paraphrase--is her ability to fill the air and always be entertaining, so it seems like a matter of clashing streaming styles during collabs. OTOH and someone said it here back a while ago, but learning when to be silent is a virtue as well and once Kiara learns to reign it down a bit, she'll be alright.

The girls have come a far way since their first collab which was unsurprisingly awkward, but it gets better with each time as they figure out how to gel and coordinate better like Calli being more energetic or Ame still being able to contribute while taking a backseat.

She's been doing that for several months now. Viewers submit their Youtube music links on the bubb4bot channel and the background music gets streamed from there. The reason is so everyone can jam out and listen to music gacha during the SC reading and the VOD doesn't get copyright-striked for the music. The user-submitted music being streamed on bubb4bot is also not saved/archived, so there's no danger of music copyright strikes on either channel.
