What, to me, stands out most of this ranch is the complete lack of purpose or plan.
Are they, first and foremost, a shelter for trannies? An alpaca rescue? An attempt at creating a completely self-sustained farm? Or just a way to escape from the world for the five-six core members and all the rest is just decoration?
They moved to this house and land because they had problems of some sort with the old one and had barely arrived or had their eyes on some other property (which may be the hippie earth house we just learned about, or something else that silently fell through). Meanwhile they were also building an extension shed on their own terrain. But why? As expansion? Expansion to what, or for what? More trannies, more animals? Is there a set goal for number and type of animals/trannies they wish to maintain?
Is the partial goal to be self-sustaining financially, and independent from charity? What is the status of their visitors, do they pay for their own stay and/or are they supposed to work as farm hands? Does TUR hire for special competence (aside from pointing guns) or is anybody welcome? Is there an education plan for people wanting to be core member but lacking farming experience?
And then there's their abominable use of resources. They have, what, four guard dogs who seemingly can't be arsed to do their job, namely stand guard at night, and several indoor cats which should be out catching vermin. They keep buying or accepting more and more deficit-generating animals. They have invested in one or two generators, three cars, a tractor, several whacky trailers (currently unused) and despite their grift funding and contributions from the members, they must have a towering debt by now.
I'm not sure I subscribe to predictions of apocalyptic stand-offs with the FBI and trans suicide pacts, but I'm confident that, bar such incidents, the tranch, like the Soviet Union, will dissolve of sheer aimlessness.
