I was expecting this level of floundering from the prosecution given that MN's governor had the state's attorney General take over the prosectuion. He has a history of being in black supremicist groups.

There never was going to be justice, it's becoming more and more apparent this really is just a political show trial.

Well, if they don't, the nogs are going to completely level the city and the feds won't lift a finger to help stop it. Plus, they get to crucify the legendary evil White Man. Win-win.

If you don't like it, get out of the country. The clown shoes are only going to get bigger from here.

High profile ones can go on for months, sometimes years. The fact that this is only 3 to 4 weeks long should tell you something.
For something this big, it can last for a few months...Or at least, it could have if firearms were involved or if several people died.
bruh, court cases can go on for years
what the fuck would make a case go for months or years? On cases about serial killers and the like I understand, and I hardly know a thng about lawyers nor America's way of doing cases, but what sane person would do it for months or years? I'm just confused on that there is so many evidence stacked towards that Floyd being high on drugs and EMT blantantly saying they found no bruises and should had lead to an open-and-shut, but this is still going.

If you're young, you probably haven't seen the show trials here before. It's high profile lawyers doing what amounts to Paper Terrorism to intentionally try to stretch the trial out longer to buy more time and build a defense/prosecution. Trials can go on for a preposterously long if you have the money to keep them going.

I don't mean any offense, but you seem very naive to how all this works over here. Perhaps the court system isn't as much of a freak show in your country.

Can someone tell me why the passenger is pleading the fifth?

He is a drug dealer. Plain and simple.

Can someone tell me why the passenger is pleading the fifth?

obviously because he's terrifed of the police purely on account of being black

Can someone tell me why the passenger is pleading the fifth?

He was Floyd's drug dealer. So he could incriminate himself if he testified.

Edit: Ninja'd that was quick
