On cases about serial killers and the like I understand, and I hardly know a thng about lawyers nor America's way of doing cases, but what sane person would do it for months or years? I'm just confused on that there is so many evidence stacked towards that Floyd being high on drugs and EMT blantantly saying they found no bruises and should had lead to an open-and-shut, but this is still going.

If you're young, you probably haven't seen the show trials here before. It's high profile lawyers doing what amounts to Paper Terrorism to intentionally try to stretch the trial out longer to buy more time and build a defense/prosecution. Trials can go on for a preposterously long if you have the money to keep them going.
