Are you getting Lauren Southern (the blonde that I think that johnsmith is talking about) mixed up with Lauren Chen (the hapa)? Southern is the one married and with a kid, Chen is the one who is engaged to some Arab looking guy and doesn't have a kid. Southern has debated Destiny, Chen hasn't as far as I'm aware of (from very light Googling.)

Yes Lauren Chen is the half asian and Canadian, Lauren Southern is the Blonde Canadian with the sister. They are both Canadian and both named Lauren so it can get confusing.

Lauren Chen has debated destiny before. It was when she called herself "roaming millennial", and that is what is mentioned in the debate. I guess she didnt want to self dox at the time. But now she doesnt care. But im not sure why she called herself that.

In conclusion to that whole Omaha campaigning saga, here's the outcome of the of the mayoral primary election:

So Destiny's man Mark Gudgel came dead last, but the two Strong Black Women were eliminated as well, and in the end, it appears that the Big Bad Republican incumbent is in position to win big anyway. General election between the top two candidates, Stothert and Neary, is to occur on May 11.

For me it's always so satisfying to see Breadtuber get his ideas tested in the real world and then realize that they might not be as influential as they think they are. Convincing political spergs online is one thing, persuading and properly marketing yourself in the real world is another.

One can only imagine what a huge blow to their ego is after realizing that they pretty much have minimal if not zero influence in the real world.

Talking online politics what OUGHT to be done or what SHOULD be done can only get you so far. But when it's time to put in the work in actual campaign that requires marketing and organized labor - they fail miserably. And it's extra satisfying because breadtubing often attracts narcistic people that think too highly of their ideas. So they're so far detached from reality blow to their face must be so much bigger.

It has happened time and time again - with Sargon, Mike from PA, Cenk Uygur etc... Altho I must say, Cenk Uygur's defeated was way more humiliating because:
1. He has spent way more on ads than his political opponents (uhhh and those EVIL lobbysts and evil establishment right!!)
2. He was running for local district himself.

Oh well... Maybe you should have CHALLENGED Jean Stothert to hop on discord and DEBATE IT OUT, Destiny!

It really felt like this was a genuine good faith effort to get involved in politics, real politics, just doorknocking for a dude he agreed with.

It only blew up from lefties fucking with him for not being left enough.

I honestly give him points for trying for it, boots on the ground is important in any race and he wasnt injecting himself as the candidate. The others you mentioned were way more cowish in their real politics.
