So, I've been rewatching his Mario Tennis Aces TIHYDP. Mostly because I needed to remind myself that he is a lot of fun to watch be ass at games sometimes. It is one of my all time favorites, and you can simply watch how fucking angry he gets because I am convinced he is only using one button. Like you can see his opponents putting all kinds of angles on their shots. And he only ever goes forward or angled because he was running at the ball. I'm not sure how to explain that, I don't fucking play Tennis. No instead he goes all in on this racket breaking thing. Hoping that it will carry him. It's like such an amazing cross section of why he is just fucking shit at a game. No memory of the other shots he can take. Leans hard on one strategy. Screams at the game when the game demands he learns how to do something else.

More like if a sandwich shop held a special event to save their shop as they are struggling to pay the bills keeping their business afload only them to get that money and the next day, say the same thing day after day after day.....

As for being a business, what other business do you know of where the person who owns it treats their customers like shit and whose product's quality is worse than that a dollar or 99 cents store? I always love this metaphor, because it doesn't hold up to the slightest bit of scrutiny. The sandwich shop doesn't like ever tell me that it really needs the help, or really needs the business. In fact, you will usually see the sandwich shop taking good days and doing something with that money. Perhaps paying their employees more. Maybe having more ingredients on hand. Maybe getting another employee to stay open later. Like, the sandwich shop tends to reward the parts that make it move when it does well, because anyone with half a brain can tell you that's when a business does better. Instead of lining its own pockets and then saying, hey I really need you to buy the extra deluxe sandwich. And then giving the same sandwich that everyone else gets anyway.

You know the more I think about this, the more it pisses me off. I've worked commissions, my girlfriend currently works commissions. We have good days and we have bad days. We use the good days to help get through the bad ones. Because we know bad days happen. We know slow days exist. Like an actual fucking adult. We really need to start needling him for being a goddamn man-child. That might actually piss him off. Because he acts like big ol mature adult man. He has muh wife and muh house, but doesn't actually understand how anything works. At all.

I don't know when your next day off is, but Hi Phil. I know genuine children who have more maturity than you do. Not even the big adult pants stuff, like knowing how to have your wife pick up groceries or how long it takes to do the shopping. Or even what a rainy day fund is. But, they are more mature than you because they know what responsibility is. And what doing the right thing is. Even when the world will cut them a break, 12 years old and they could scream at their parents over an action figure, something every person has done give or take age and circumstance, but they don't. They know better. Actual 12 year olds know better than you do.
