If a significant amount of blacks set their minds to pushing back, there'd be nothing stopping them. They are one of the few classes with almost completely unmitigated free speech rights that white people no longer have (sans talking about jews).

If they weren't overwhelmingly ok with this, we'd hear about it by now.
“Silence is violence”, as I understand it.

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet or not, but here's the witness list for the prosecution and defendant.
Well I'm pleased to see that both the people smack dealers in the car with Floyd are on the witness list for the defense (found on p6). They can say they won't testify but if called I'm pretty sure their options are: talk, plead the fifth or become a fugitive.

On a more serious note, you can see the foam coming from Floyd's mouth on one of the bodycams.

I went poking about.
He's clearly having that issue by the time they first try to get him in the squad car:

Even earlier, but more arguable:

But then 33 seconds later this exchange occurs:
Cop: You got foam around your mouth too?
GF: Yes, yes. I was hooping earlier.
[19:05] Timestamps relate to this version of bodycam footage.

Imagine thinking a middle class subset of a minority group has the free time or deep pockets to actively and constantly wage war against the entire media conglomerate that wields effectively infinite money and influence.
There is a push against the shenanigans depicted as normal or brave by the media involving blacks, but what do you expect of them? For mainstream media to hand the reigns to people directly opposing their narrative? This is basically "Just build your own internet" but for mainstream media coverage.

I'm talking about just common and business interactions with them. You'd see objections in your workplace to virtue signaling and "anti-whiteness" training. You'd see your black friends complaining about BLM's activities. You'd see more of them joining places like this and speech friendly sites to voice their dissatisfaction (or even speech hostile sites like twitter).

You see a few, but it's remarkably rare. Likely due in part to them financially benefiting and having increased job security from it.

I believe that yes, if the Defense calls them, they have to show up and go on the stand, and then they either answer it or say "I plead the fifth." And I think the "I plead the fifth" thing is limited in when they can reply with that.

"Did floyd do X, Y, or Z?" "I plead the fifth." "You can't, cause you aren't implicating yourself in what Floyd did. Answer the question." "*CHIMPOUT*" "Contempt of Court, 30 days."

Edit: Plus, a good attorney can use "I plead the fifth" to make a person LOOK guilty as sin, too. Looking forward to the Defense calling him in.

Hold the fuck- so she just said that the person in the car with him was his drug dealer. Not only she threw Floyd's "friend" under a bus but she also incriminated herself by stating that she knew he was a drug dealer and said nothing until the very day she had to testify. Isn't that a crime?
The burden of guilt is now on a 3rd party that refused to testify in court. This trial is over, the girlfriend just cleared these cop's names.

I see all of those things happen. I see most black people I know complaining about BLM's activities. But if The Daily Rag needs a piece on BLM, they're not going to publish a bunch of black people saying shit stinks, just like your (very likely not black) board of directors aren't going to have Mike in middle management tell them they're retards for workplace diversity training when the focus groups say it'll work.

He could lie.

Sorry - I wasn't accusing YOU of moving goalposts, necessarily. "Contributed to death" is just so fucking limp-wristed compared to the rhetoric over the last year. I haven't personally seen you say anything stupid, I'm just making an observation about how bullshit this all is.

"George Floyd was an INNOCENT MAN who was BRUTALLY MURDERED by RACIST COPS!"
"Okay, well, maybe he wasn't innocent, but he still didn't deserve to be MURDERED by RACIST COPS!"
"Okay, well, maybe the cops weren't racist, but they still MURDERED him!"
"Okay, well, maybe they didn't murder him per se, but it's manslaughter for sure!"
"Okay, well, maybe not manslaughter, but they COULD have helped him sooner, and they didn't!"
"Okay, well, maybe he had enough drugs in him to kill a horse, and maybe there's photographic evidence showing Chauvin's knee wasn't even on Floyd's neck the entire time, and maybe the autopsy showed no evidence of mechanical asphyxiation, and also Floyd had COVID and late-stage heart disease, and he was foaming at the mouth, and almost died from a nearly-identical overdose a few months ago, but I STILL THINK HE'S GUILTY! DEFUND THE POLICE!"

> taking arguments of different guys to show hypocrisy
> assuming everyone's running some agenda just like him

OMGG!! WHITE BRAIN REPLACEMENT THEORY IS TRUEE!

My experience is exactly the opposite. I've had to split ways with black (and general non-white) friends over this shit because they made their positions clear and their attitudes all changed to something completely insufferable, and suddenly everything was about race. We couldn't laugh like we used to because half the jokes we made were off the table. Everything was just tense and awkward. This was even before the BLM riots and was just racial tensions rising. I can't even imagine talking to them now.

I met some sane ones after the fact just by virtue of them being based, but this entire ordeal has shifted my opinion on 'diversity'. It's entirely unsustainable due to irreconcilable goals.

Maybe it's a location-related phenomena?

ABC News: Mental health experts warn Derek Chauvin trial may revive feelings of racial trauma
