Translator looney-toon and Lyger-lite, Jin Teramachi, announces his semi-retirement from his own clip channel. Seems he's getting a more "professional" translation job and going to be working on some other collaborative-effort sub channel that I've never even heard of before. It also sounds like he'll be doing "official" work for Cover translating Okayu's special event stream VODs (unless his wording is just funky there). But if that is the case, I pray to God he's not getting paid.

Oh, and of course take notice at his one final swing at "bad translators" in the first sentence of his message in that tweet. He just can't help but be a salty little shit all the time, amazing.

Something that always cracked me up about this guy is how he whines about translators taking "creative liberties" in their clip subbing, but yet the actual, official Hololive channel does it quite a bit themselves in things like the Hologra shorts (they take very creative liberties sometimes). So, I wonder if he hates those too. Interesting.

Imo its irrelevant. Most ID talents, and especially Ollie, pander to overseas audience since Indo audience can't send akasupa. I will not be surprised if more than half of her audience is actually western folks.

He probably has no problem with Hologra "she sus" and others, because these were done by PROFESSIONAL translators who were OFFICIALLY HIRED and are GETTING PAID, unlike random enthusiasts plebs who know nothing and just want to have fun and make vtubers more popular and accessible instead of Preaching the Word.

An interesting clip came up on my recommendation.

Noel being super candid about her take on HoloStar collab. The way I see it is that she think the Star work as hard as Lives and deserve to success as well. She have seriously consider collab with them, but in the end decide not to because; she's afraid that the absolute autistic gachikoi in her fanbase going to spreg out, and that she personally aren't comfortable talking with a man. Personal ratt, the later weight heavier on her decision. She simply never have a connection to any of the Star, and she don't know how to suddenly talk to one of them. Also, I can see why a woman growing up with her special "condition" might have enough reason to be uncomfortable around man she isn't already familiar with by default. It also further confirm what Astel say that there is no rule stopping Star-Live collaboration, but the decision is on the girl side if they want to do it or not. I do feel bad for Noel, feeling that she's a selfish person for not doing it, all because of the condition on her side.
She then proceed to talk about how her brother smell nice and that she's a brocon because reasons.

I think you're giving him too much credit. I don't think he's actually a troon, he's just some guy using the whole female being a pervert thing for money. Troons use the whole being a female thing for attention and clout

Today we had Haachama play autism simulator like the others, but she (apparently) played Autism Simulator 2 instead of 3 because it's August 11th 2020 for her, 3 isn't out yet. The stream was interrupted once by a Haato phonecall but no jumpscares or whatever (unlike the previous arc).

Speculation time:
  • Gen 5, HoloEN and HoloID Gen 2 do not yet exist per her timeline, because it's August 2020.
  • She should "officially" still be in Australia
  • We should be seeing her acknowledge Gen 5 soon, Lamy debuts August 12th which is 2 days after August 10th (thus landing on April 3rd for us)
  • She will be celebrating 500k subs soon
  • She has a couple interesting videos coming up, including one where she draws Gen 5 in mspaint and another where she cooks gyoza (lol)
  • April 6th will be interesting because that's Mano Aloe's debut date.
  • September 27th is the Taiwan incident, which would be interesting to relive except that won't happen because
  • September 13th is Watson Amelia's debut date, corresponding to 5th May for us. My prediction is that the arc will end that day.

Several days ago, an Indonesian Twitter user complained to Hololive Indonesia's Twitter account regarding Jaret Fajrianto, an Indonesian independent Virtual YouTuber affiliated with GHOSTY's Comic, a comic strip based around otaku cultures.

The user inquires Hololive ID's staff that their talents collabed with Jaret way too often. They asked management to supervise Jaret but they are okay with Holostars collabs for some reason. He also talked about how a lot of people had their SuperChats unnoticed and it's bad because "Cover's business is based upon delusional viewers and while Indonesian viewers may understand why (HoloID girls collapsed with Jaret), foreign audiences may not understand it.

The user also said that he "represents" fans that dislike Jaret collabs with HoloID girls but too afraid to say it publicly. Also complained that it's not good for him to arrive at home after work only to find their favorite VTuber having fun with others (probably referring to Jaret).

Predictably, the user was bashed in Facebook and Twitter for being a spergy delusional retard. He deactivated/deleted his Twitter account, never to be seen again. Jaret knows this and responded by sending a tweet.
