It comes down to whether or not any face covering is considered a medical device or not. Because a business can't force you to use a medical device, or discriminate against you due to health reasons.

Does anyone remember that invented panic about Trump saying we should inject bleach? He was discussing UV light and the possibility of treatments that could bring it into the body. Which is something that was being investigated at the time. Just anything that could have been used to treat COVID was being ignored or demonized. Hydro-chloroquine? "Oh my gosh that's so dangerous! It is shit like this that makes my tinfoil hat rise. So much bullshit that went on in 2020 and is still going on 2021 should be waking people up in a just world. Why is everything Fauci says infallible when he has changed his tune on handling this virus since early 2020 and second opinions, a cornerstone in the medical field, are now considered heresy? The contributions he made to the Wuhan lab and the choice words he said before Trump was inaugurated will be written off as conspiracy theories but it's sure one hell of a coincidence. And that isn't the only coincidence. There was a outsider who became president even though he wasn't suppose to and it threw the establishment into chaos. One of his main foreign policies was taking on a country (China) that was growing in power for decades and looking to be the only superpower on the world stage. Corrupt bureaucrats, some with ties to China, threw everything including the kitchen sink to delegitimize Trump's time in office. Now that he's out after an election that also raised questions, these bureaucrats now turn their attention to those who had the audacity to throw that monkey wrench to disrupt the political machine.
Just because a medication is FDA approved doesn't mean it's right for every person due to things like underlying conditions and risk factors. A primary care physician would have the patients medical history and should have a better idea of whether it's something they would recommend for them.
It's possible, I know for a fact that certain countries have waffled on allowing US tourists, banning them, unbanning them. To my understanding though you could still fly most places, you just possibly had to "quarantine" and/or get tested. In my example the person traveling had family there, but one wonders how much background they would actually do if you claimed you were visiting X relative at Y address. It's not like you have to get a special visa to do so (to my knowledge).
