This applies to Mel too. She's really comfortable to watch but, in a hard to describe way, she just doesn't have the "oomph" to go big. She's essentially been relegated to "new gen's first collab partner" status

The Charge Blade is easily the most complicated weapon in the game. It's a cycle of building up energy with the Sword and Shield mode, storing it, then expelling it as explosions in Axe mode. The problem is, the game does a REALLY bad job of explaining the mechanics. Watch her as she's in combat with sword and shield. You'll see the sword (and the vials under her health bar) turn to yellow, then red, then smoking red as she fights stuff. That's the signal to store energy. If she doesn't, the weapon is 'overcharged' and it will bounce off the enemies with EVERY attack.
I think a lot of people only come here to view this thread. Since most people here are likely weebs I'll recommend the weebwars board (Vic Mignogna being cancelled for eating a jellybean, funimation VA lolcows and their pathetic orbiters), mothers basement and digitroon. I'm not sure if an there's a good index for the gunt thread (now board), but if you are interested I'd recommend starting around his youtube deplatforming (edit: or the first gunt sighting at knoxville) and watch the spiral into cowdom.
While I 100% agree with this i can forgive her a little since the Mukirose character was one of the first memes to gain her traction. I think it's also one of the reasons why Aki is so supportive of Coco and not afraid of doing collabs with her during the bug swarm, as Coco really helped push Aki with Mukirose.
For some reason, people resort to primal pack mentality when it comes to weapons choices Charge Blade and Switch Axe tend to have a bit of a rivalry because they share a couple aspects.
I mean I do agree to hear a tad but I still feel like the chicken gets dragged on for things other talents of done just because of her irl persona.
