Hasn't autism been off the table for a while, though? Gyro said themself that they don't have autism on multiple occasions, and that they were diagnosed with other things (aka they don't have autism) when getting tested. I don't know why they're so insistent on getting diagnosed with it even though iirc multiple medical health professionals have said they don't have it.

Doctors told her she's too fat and she responded by calling the doctors racist against fat people.

She doesn't actually respect any expert's opinion, she just wants them to agree with her and strengthen her statements.

I think she's doing it to find work or get government assistance (or both?). When you look at the things she's gotten really upset about lately-getting denied for SSI, her mom telling her she'll have to move out if she wants a name change, not getting a lot of sales on Etsy-it all comes down to a growing realization that her lifestyle is not sustainable in the long-term, because her parents won't be around forever to keep her afloat. She'll never admit it outright, maybe not even to herself, but I think that deep down, Stephanie is starting to understand that she's totally fucked.

Otherwise adequate people who end up in a similar position will generally become determined to fix it through their own means, if possible-they'd go out to job search, try to find people they can split rent with, stop spending on stupid shit (like pins and iced tea lol), that kind of thing-but Stephanie has neither the desire nor the ability to present herself respectably to an employer or potential roommate, let alone manage her life and finances responsibly. Plus, her work history is full of holes, and she's been fired before for genuinely stupid/unethical behavior. So she's pursuing an autism diagnosis because in her mind, it would solve all her problems-she could use it to bolster her SSI application, and she would also have access to resources for autistic people to get help finding (and keeping) some low-wage job. She thinks a diagnosis would be her ticket out of NEETdom.

It would also absolve her of her past mistakes, at least in her view, because her laziness and lack of motivation could be chalked up to "I was struggling because I was autistic (and had no idea)!", or something like that. So it's probably also some kind of psychological defense mechanism. If it turns out she's autistic, Stephanie thinks it'll mean it's not actually her fault that she's such a failure in life.

What ableist about the first tweet?

Her delusions are scary as fuck. Also, please remind me how is she ace exactly if she keeps fooling around with ghosts and demons?
Calling someone schizophrenic as an insult is ableist. Because of course it is.

Also the best thing about Easter/Passover isn't ham (especially not for Pesach!) because ham sucks and it's cheap to start with; the best part is when lamb goes on sale.

"Old men with alzheimer's didn't like it when I told them their religion was a lie Christianity is totally catered to everywhere in this country."

Ham is great when you put it in the middle of a dinner roll.

I'm guess that Heath Ledger was trending in Australia... because he's from there... and it's also 'tomorrow' over there. I can't believe she couldn't think of that.

You'd think someone who pretends she's communicating with Heath Ledger's ghost (jfc) *and* is all woowoo I'm so in touch with the planets etc would somehow be clued into this. It's almost like Stephanie is a liar and an idiot

Imagine being the "WOO EDGELORD SATAN" guy, and then this awkward-ass smoothbrain comes along and is all "hurple hurr I've never had any dick but I've had pretend sex with demons hurr just my two cents about a totally real experience I had"
It's like...there could be a whole room full of a bunch of clowns talking some dumb shit, but then Stephanie can STILL manage to blow up the spot with a tryhard non-sequiter

It's no mystery why Stephanie cannot hold down a job, can't get a place of her own, can't even have her own phone and at 32+ has to negotiate with her parents about things people almost half her age can just...go and do. Still, I just LOVE glimpses like this one into her disastrous work history and idiot potato behavior.
Oh, you tried to push your religion onto the vulnerable people you were in charge of? I'm sure that's exactly how Stephanie herself would characterize it if she overheard someone trying to explain the nature of the Trinity to some sped, but somehow when she's like "HURR PAIMON IS MY BIG DICK DEMON DADDY, DEMONS ARE ACTUALLY VERY KEWL" it's supposed to be okay and totally professional lol.

God her poor ex-employers, I would pay actual cash money to hear some juicy stories from them lol

She totally thinks this, which, ironically but unsurprisingly, is super fucking ableist of her lol. Incredible how she embodies all the stuff she claims to be against. Honestly I hope she does get some kind of diagnosis cause you know she will get into some ridiculous shit if she can blame everything on her adult onset autism.

It's possible she has something called a hiatal hernia, where the top of her stomach protrudes through her diaphragm and doesn't shut properly. It can be fixed with keyhole surgery with a diet of soft foods for 3 -6 weeks after the operation.

Keyhole surgery is by no means painless, but it's a hell of a lot less intimidating than open surgery. As for soft foods, if the thought of having to change her diet for a few weeks is such a problem, she can just buy a food blender. I honestly think she enjoys the drama of suffering, and if she had the operation to repair her stomach it'd mean one less excuse for her to throw a tantrum.

Personally, I couldn't stand to live with severe heartburn, knowing that there's an easy cure for all the pain and discomfort within my grasp and simply refuse to take it. Maybe she'll change her mind if she develops esophageal spasms (an indescribably agonising side effect of heartburn) further down the track. She'd briefly enjoy the drama surrounding an esophageal spasm, but living with your esophagus literally trying to tie itself into knots at random intervals lacks a certain longterm appeal.
Yarrow has confirmed that a surgery like this would fix their GERD, but they don't want to deal with that diet, even if only for a few weeks, for Reasons (ie. having to give up fatty sugary foods even temporarily, and those sweet sweet pity points). Insinuating that this is dumb and they have no right to complain because they're refusing a simple fix like this is, according to them, ableism of the highest order.

Separately, in regards to the autism talk, Yarrow has mentioned that they have tried multiple times to get diagnosed with autism, but the closest they ever got was "autistic symptoms" (which is not full-blown Autism Spectrum Disorder or, yknow, they would have just gotten dxed with ASD. My personal theory is that the only reason they even got "autistic symptoms" is because they wouldn't stop badgering the psych about how totally autistic they are and they noted something along the lines of "patient believes they have autistic symptoms"). Guessing this new try is a Hail Mary to try and get more disability bux and/or a low-effort job for the reasons other Kiwis listed above. The criteria have been widened a little in the DSM5 with the removal of Asperger's and bundling that into just ASD, so who knows how it'll pan out. Could go either way.
