The conflicting thoughts I have is whether Phil is truly self aware of how much of a lame existence he lives. Some may argue the point that this is all that Phil desires. A condo he can call a house and can provide him a “safenet” since it is a “gated” community, a wife so he can at least attempt to convince himself that someone loves him, and finally a large source of income for food and to scratch his gacha itch. I just wonder if the thought ever seeps into his mind that his life is depressing. He’s convinced himself the world is out to get him and probably would freak out if someone notices him in his shopping trips. He avoids anyone he suspects being a “detractor” in games and runs like a pussy when one joins his sessions. He has no real friends and no one to truly confide to when he’s feeling down (the vegetable wife doesn’t count). Finally he stumbles on “content creation” and made fuck you money but what does he have to show for it? The middle condo? Anyone with some maturity would have maintained that money better than him. Even now, he made some pretty good money in the last year alone with the vest streak and what does he have to show? The fact he’s a coward and has no pride will prevent him to do it but anyone with one drop of pride would either shape up or jump off a cliff if they were Phil Burnell.
you can tell by how shitty and pissed off/unhinged he is most of the time combined with his apparent alcoholism that he at least knows to some degree what a sad existence he lives

The other day I had a tin foil hat theory about Dave not driving a car that has stuck with me.

Idk about legal limits in Seattle but what if he can't drive because he has residual alcohol after a gin night? Even if he drank like 3 shots, that would mean he couldn't drive his mom to work in the morning.
Friendly reminder that Phil is, quite literally, a massive bitch:

Happy easter fellow nudniks ♥️

A day of unfettered autism, kind of glad I sat this one out tbh.

Out of curiosity I decided to review DSP's business spending on games in 2021 because I realized that all of his ongoing playthroughs are either <$60 releases or multiplayer games he's long since milked dry. And it's not like there's nothing else to play, he just ducked MH Rise which is a hugely popular title (more on this in another autistic post).

Games DSP has played in 2021:
Yakuza 7 - began playthrough in 2020
Assassin's Creed Valhalla - began playthrough in 2020
Street Fighter Anniversary Collection - bought years ago
Cyberpunk 2077 - began playthrough in 2020
Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold war - bought back in Nov
Immortals Fenyx Rising - $60
Hitman 3 - $60
Resident Evil: The Village Demo - FREE
Destruction Allstars - FREE with PSN Plus
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout - bought last year
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury - $60
Divinity: Origin Sin 2 - $24 (on sale through 4/28/21
Ghost 'n Goblins Resurrection - $30
Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony - $40
Monster Hunter Rise Demo - FREE
Genshin Impact - FREE
TOTAL - $274
TOTAL including Y7, AC:V, & CP2077 - $454

Which is about $151.33/month using the very charitable total that includes the costs of games he finished playing in 2021 but bought in 2020. So the question is, what did the other $4,848.67 x 3 = $14,546 of business expenses go towards? Utilities, a portion of his mortgage, and balloons?

EDIT: Fixed math because Destruction Allstars was actually free too lmao
wasnt it 5000$ mature adult business expenses a month? one month even 9000$.

I've been thinking about Phils ever changing schedule. I wonder if finally after 2 years of marriage Kat is getting pissed off with spending no time with her husband and they are actually having days out like you should have with your spouse?

We know she works part time so having 1 day off makes absolutely no sense. She probably works 2-3 days a week which gives Phil lots of days to pick to go and do stuff and enjoy time together. He's just too scared to tell people this because pleading poverty increases his revenue.

I think we might see Phil take some weekend time off, he will probably stick to 1 day though.

You can add in a few hundred for internet, he legally can claim a portion of his heating and electric bills for his office but it's obvious the rest goes on WWE Champions because his accountant doesn't cross reference games he plays on stream with expenses. But that's not his accountants job...

Phil (probably) believes having a CPA signing off his accounting makes this legal when in fact it's tax fraud and bankruptcy fraud. I bet if the IRS audited him they would probably not cross reference things either.

I'd think that, but remember, a significant portion of his money comes from working that extra day. Either he keeps streaming 6 days a week or WWE champions ain't gonna be funded anymore (or idk he just puts that shit on a credit card lmao)

He also finished Cyberpunk, THEN got it refunded. That's another -60$. Yeah, those 5k a month in expenses look more plausible every day. You gotta wonder how a bunch of internet sleuths can figure this out but Nancy couldn't.

Tinfoil hat theory: He just fessed up to the Champions whaling behind the scenes and passed it off as a bad business investment. He did intend to do streams of that. After all, Bankruptcy is there to help truly unfortunate or unbelievably irresponsible people. And if Nancy pressed X on it being business related, Rochelle could have just slammed the table, yelled OBJECTION and said "Prove it". It's very nature as a 0 value e-heroin trinket that will one day vanish without a trace when Scopely closes up shop, and it lacking even possible returns like gambling would make it really difficult to prove it was acquired for pleasure. You could just present your client as Schrödinger's idiot. He was just making investments in his business, your honor, and they didn't pan out. No, of course he's not a wasteful closeted homosexual, he has a wife. Yes, of course he kept spending in spite of seeing no returns. If he was smarter he wouldn't need bankruptcy.

Aight bet placing time. $10 on OIC carrying that mfking goal.
That's like saying "I bet the house wins sometimes".

Anyone that knows anything about finances would immediately ask why he kept pumping money into it when it didn't make any money back though. He would have to have started streaming it right away for that to be a plausible reason.

His audio schedules are getting so long, it makes multiple posts.

The fact that he still does these shows how fucking out of touch he is. NOBODY wants to digest a schedule with audio. Fucking nobody. If I’m his fan and I’m wondering what he’s playing tomorrow why the fuck would I listen to a several minute long audio clip over viewing a single easy to read text post? What a fucking nudnik.

well i would not say "easy to read" text post.

I think this part of what you wrote is what Phil thinks 90% of the time. He's convinced himself this is how adults live, and he lives in an echo chamber where he bans anyone who disagrees, so... and for the other 10% of the time, that's what the gin is for.
