You guys want digging? I got it, went back through a bunch of logs in the r/waifuism discord. Found a lot, so much that I'm gonna split it up because this takes way too long. Wanted to start out with some information that this thread doesn't have: Androgynous' family and childhood (that's real and every day we stray further from god).

For anyone curious, her account used in the r/waifuism discord at least is #MerasFriend#2473. No I don't know what it means.

FAMILY:
Androgynous lives at home with her parents and her younger sister. Her parents are by all accounts, immensely religious, something that for some reason comes into conflict with her belief that she is an octopus.

It would appear that her parents are very much sick of her at this point, and she's considered a disappointment. They're not wrong.

(Side note: later messages seem to suggest that she did get herself a job, but it is unknown if she kept it, these messages are semi-old now.)

She doesn't seem to like her parents all that much, probably because they know how much of a waste of space she is. (Side note, being so stupid that the idiots at r/waifusim call her out is something of a trend.)

She has a now troubled relationship with her sister (who is also on the spectrum) that is far more successful than she is, and most likely more loved by her parents. She claims to have a lot of friends but I wouldn't be surprised if that's a lie and it's just her, despite the fact that she deliberately goes out of her way to trigger her and her sister does not seem interested in keeping in contact with her, even trying to cut her out of her life and live like a normal person.

CHILDHOOD:
She had a past relationship with Ludwig Von Koopa. Take that how you will.

I have more parts to back this up in a different folder but basically, Androgynous was a mega problem child, with a habit of screaming. A lot. There's a lot of messages about screaming. No wonder her family is done with her shit.

Mera is the name of the giant octopus god mother thing in her book. Mera gives birth to the Octopods because apparently Octopods don't reproduce. I hate that I know this.

From the discord posts I got my confirmation she believes she's stupid. Which she projected onto her book in Chapter 25. I'm betting Nancy (her sister) in the book is actually supposed to be Marzi's mom.

The strawberry person in the discord was right Marzi is abusive, not just borderline with how she talks about her mom, but from the physical abuse from her too
