$ (XMR) Monero

Is there a place to just buy Monero online with a credit card? All the stuff I'm finding is trading it with Bitcoin and things like that, or super shady shit.

Kraken, maybe? It looks like they have an XMR/USD exchange, and they take credit cards, but I don't know if they allow CC purchases of Monero. I'm in one of the states they won't operate in, so I can't check myself. It seems like using a CC defeats the purpose of Monero.

Does it? My understanding was that it would be possible to track that you bought Monero, but not how much or which "coins". Correct me if I'm wrong there.

Aside from Binance (which even then I assume only offers it on their non-US site), KuCoin has various XMR trading pairs as well, so you might be able to use that provided that they don't do things differently for US users as opposed to non-US.

Depends on where you are located, but here are all the exchanges available:

Pro-tip: Trading on Binance, not Binance.US only requires a VPN. Set your VPN to japan and you'll be trading with all the chinks without uncle sam's eye up your dickhole.

Easiest way would just be Kraken or KuCoin for US. If they don't have a USD listing, just buy something relatively boring and stable with credit card and trade it for XMR.

https://kycnot.me/ heres a nice site which lists a few exchanges that dont require kyc

imo the easiest way is to just buy it with btc/eth/ltc, just buy that on a normal site (or a local atm) then use an anon exchange to swap that to xmr
ive used sideshift to buy xmr with other crypto before and its pretty fast and retard-proof, bisc is good too but requires a bit more effort as u need to install their application

I checked out some of the suggested sites, but I didn't see anything that directly offers Monero for credit card. I guess I may have to go money > Bitcoin > Monero.

It just seems weird to me. All the stuff these sites sell, including tons of obscure memecoins nobody cares about, but no Monero?

It's not weird at all. The feds hate Monero because it's genuinely private and all indications are that they haven't been able to crack it.
If I had to guess, I'd say none of the big players are confident enough that they can come up with a KYC/AML process that'll pass muster with the US government in the case of privacy coins.

LET'S FUCKING GO MONERO BROS!

Can't wait for this to get more user friendly. Have to launder that piece of bitcoin that once was in a wallet I sent a tip to a gamergate youtuber from. It's been keeping me up at night.

Also, they should hire some social media people. There seems to be a lack of hype about genuinely revolutionary updates.

What do you guys think is a reasonable price target for this in 2 years?

I think XMR could be $1000 at the end of this bull run. $750 wouldn't surprise me and I think you can bet the house on XMR hitting a new ATH by the end of the bull run. In 2 years, we'll likely be in a bear market, so the price should go down considerably akin to previous market cycles.
