Oh god, those poor emaciated lambs. There's definitely no way they're not purposefully separating them because "animal heckin cute". The incompetence is staggering.
My only hesitancy with believing that is that their creating quite a bit of hassle for themselves and I think it was bonny is already upset about having them in the house but otherwise it sounds like the sort of thing they would do

Two friends of mine actually bought a set to test them and of all the things a .410 shotgun shell blew out the rivets
What did they do against rifle rounds? I imagine Earl's 30-06 durr rifle is going to go right through.

I know its a fudd take but I would rather not have all this garbage body armor. All it does is make you look dumb, its heavy, and just gives you a false sense of security. Maybe it would help if your kicking doors in detroit and facing Tyrone and his 9 but out there where everyone has rifles what is the point?

I have heard a number of people have tested them against 5.56 and the plates failed miserably.

Edit: Oh gee, it's even in the Homeowner's Packet.

My friends shot them with 5.56 out of an 18" barrel and 5.45 out of a 16" barrel. Both went through.

Top down
5.56 75gr hpbt
308 150gr full copper projectile
5.45 7n6 60fr

the one that didn't penetrate was a .410 slug that popped the rivets
I love that deer ammo completely fucks that up.

Has the Custer County Homeowner's Packet ever been posted? Because it answers a lot of interesting questions and brings up even more...

http://custercountygov.com/pdf/Homeowners Packet.pdf

It's also hilarious in the context of the tranch.

Edit: Oh wait, here's the 2019 update!

Wow just reading the stuff about water lack of building code and the recommendation of people that have probably lived there forever, I can sorta understand how they would annoy the neighbors and the neighbors will deal with it for a while because I have a feeling just on levels of natural resources they won’t be there forever. Odds are they didn’t plan for water for all living on the tranch. Probably haven’t done any upgrades for the septic and want to shove more assholes in? Yea no way this goes wrong. I’ve been through this country and aside from the mountains I didn’t see much difference from New Mexico (dad lived in Las Vegas NM) then one year in November I think I-25 was ice all the way to Wyoming and hit just that fast. I can’t wait for a really dry hot summer. “Help us we need 100k for bottled water!”

Damn, TW that shit. I'm still literally shaking RN from reading about the male and female NPT specifications on the fire cisterns.

On a serious note:
e Single-family dwelling: Custer County Zoning Resolution. Custer County allows only one single-family dwelling per parcel of land unless a multi-dwelling variance has been granted or the structures are pre-zoning
I wonder if the Tranch bothered to secure a variance, or if they're just planning to throw a tarp over signs of people banished to living in the rape shed.

The reason I found that link is because I was looking at listings for adjacent properties and noticed every single one that had been sold in the past few years very SPECIFICALLY mentioned the water/well situation for said property... the listing for the tranch did NOT.

I am no gun expert, but have the faint recollection that AK-47s are a favourite among warlords in Africa, because even child soldiers can operate them. So, the Tranches unsurprisingly even fail at being Tranny Supersoldiers.
Warlords in Africa like AK-47s because they're cheap (and in some cases, free) and can withstand neglect very well, which is great when your entire armed forces consist of retarded conscripts. Child soldiers can operate pretty much any modern small arm with little trouble, children are often underestimated by adults.

B-bb--but the wish.com page Professional manufacturer website said it would stop a dozen 88mm PAK43 rounds.

"What can it stop? We have tested it against steel core 7.62x39(60 rounds), round tip .223(30 rounds), and round tip 30-06(8 rounds) the combined deformation from all of those rounds was just under 1 inch. Spalling increased significantly after 35 rounds."

Interesting; I wonder if the land was this effed up when they bought it...given they're not even competent enough to consider that maybe you want a parcel of land for your herds that isn't a moonscape and as I recall this wasn't their first choice of a parcel of land.

Seriously. What the fuck is wrong with urban/suburban upper-middle-class-and-better idiots when it comes to thinking agriculture is simple? It takes a lot of know-how and science to have the kind of productivity that is required to support so many people not working on producing food. It gets even more important when you've got people who are just plain dead weight.

I mean, look at these troons, and the massive amounts of environmental damage and animal abuse they're doing with no apparent ability to understand this. They don't seem to understand, either, that you can't just keep somebody who's a net drain on resources--and I'm not sure Kev's bringing enough in.

Might be hilarious if the EPA ends up coming down on them like a ton of bricks.

Maybe they tested it from 2500 yards. YOU DON'T KNOW!

The tranch must have a normal septic system and well sized for the number of bedrooms. At one time it got a certificate of occupancy. The problem they will run in to this summer is they are way, way over these limits. The septic system will fail from abuse (and from dumb shit like driving a tractor over the leach field) and the well will run dry.

The Earthship is a disaster from the start since we already know its condemned and all over the county's radar from the last owners. This makes it legally harder to complete then just starting with bare land. They will need to get permits and have an engineered septic system put in. The soil may not perc test in which case they can't put a system in and they can never get a certificate of occupancy. There may or may not be water there to drill. We saw in the old photo's the dumb hippies put in cisterns. Maybe they where planning on trucking water in?

I don't know how it is in CO but in my neck of the woods before you buy building plots of land you make sure the septic engineering is approved and well drilled and yield tested. With out those 2 things you can't put a home up.

In the end I think what drives the tranchers off will be the same thing that did in ranchers for 100's of years before them: Lack of water

Wait a fucking second. The steel as a backer? Those retarded fuckers. You use the HDPE as the backer. The steel absorbs the initial energy of the round and the plastic deforms around the projectile to absorb the remaining energy. That's how actual body armor manufacturers started doing hybrid steel/HDPE plates years ago. I can't remember the name of the company. They threw it out a window and ran it over with a truck, then fired like 30 round of various calibers into it. This is was like 10-15 years ago. They were the first ones actively marketing these new "indestructible" plates. It was a much higher quality plate obviously

@Ghjkl63 I thought your friends were retarded because they shot the plates backwards and just held my tongue. But no, they were following the manufacturer's instructions. I'm sorry. The idiot making these took a sound idea, manufactured it poorly, and then used it entirely incorrectly.

Bull fucking shit, the 5.56 went through that plate like a hot knife through butter, there is no fucking way that it's going to stop military grade AP rounds.

The only 7.62commie steel core they shot it with is M43 mild core, guarenteed. They aren't getting BZ. They claim they shot it with the M855 equivalent and are too ignorant to know that.

Steel core is not steel tip, fyi. All that means is the case is steel, it's what typical Soviet/Russian surplus is made out of. Steel TIPPED however, is another story.

A lot of ranges ban it because it can ricochet and reselling steel is not as lucrative as reselling brass cases. It's also harder on backstops. Other than that, there is nothing about regular commie steel case surplus that is "armor piercing".
