Furry Fandom and Drama General

Furries are built on stereotypes.
Which is kinda why I think furry has an appeal not unlike Sonic: Characters' personalities are clearly delineated by their species, so 'nuff said, your job's done, right?

Wrong. Other than the basics (like you still have to create a fucking character), it helps to remember that some of the more enduring uses of anthropomorphism involve the tweaking and subverting of those stereotypes. (Case in point: The Cowardly Lion. You don't even have to say anything, it's that elegant an example.)

Vomit-inducing!

I can't even make it through this video all the way.
I lose my shit usually when the pony comes in or when she starts sitting on him and have to close it out from just feeling 2nd-hand embarrassment.

Why would anyone willingly post something this personal and creepy about their private life on the internet, help

Warning: Not safe for work and probably not safe for life

DON'T HURT SPARKLES!!!

"A married Ann Arbor couple first brought a 15-year-old Saline girl into the world of "furry fandom" before the 31-year-old husband coaxed her into having sex with him, a police report shows."

More on that: Michigan man, 31, lured 15-year-old girl into dog-collar sex parties with wife

Some quotes:

On his Facebook page, Burke appears in photos wearing a pair of fuzzy ears as part of his 'furry' character Draco Wolfe

That picture:

draco-wolfe.jpg

Burke's father, Scott Burke, insisted that his son was not a sexual deviant but acknowledged to The Ann Arbor News that the 31-year-old and his wife, Crystal Gray, chose to live an 'alternative lifestyle.'

The alternate lifestyle of a sexual deviant!

Burke's Facebook page suggests that the 31-year-old man, who works as a driver for a living, spends his free time as a furry - a term referring to people who dress up as anthropomorphic animals characters with human personalities.

The victim's parents said in court that Burke sent their daughter a text message saying he had her dog collar for her. The image on the right is a file photo

I wouldnt say zootopia is pandering to furries necessarily, but in there there is definitely some recognition that furries will be in their audience.

The naked joke. The clothes (and nor just shirts or pants like most other animated animals, but shirts AND pants worn together anthro style). The "be-fur," which is a well - known and irritating furry thing they love to do. The mere mention of the word "anthropomorphic." The fact the main dude was a fucking FOX, the number one furry boner animal...ever. and the fact it has the word "zoo" in the title, which is very similar to "zoophile."

Maybe not pandering, but definitely there is an attempt in there somewhere to appeal to the furries.
Or ill be damned by GodBear.

I just googled zootopia to learn what it is. Found porn of it on the first page of google image search. *sigh*

My last roommate was a "dolphin" furry and he told me about hoe he was into BDSM.

Like woah, boundaries dude. He would show me the furry porn he sometimes draws.

I'm out of that nightmare though.

Who was it? I bet I know who it is. :3

edit: fuck

I just googled zootopia to learn what it is. Found porn of it on the first page of google image search. *sigh*

Back in the day, like when the whole "furry" thing was gaining traction and was becoming more and more prominent online, there was this stupid game that my friends and I would play. We called it something like the "Google Image Search Game". The object was to pick a Pokemon, turn off SafeSearch, and see who could get the farthest (how many rows of results down) before hitting porn. Longest discrepancy won. We also tried playing the opposite, shortest distance wins. Pikachu, Eevee, and some of the other cutesy ones ended up being row-1 victories.

The game evolved as time went on. "How far can you go before hitting yiff" slowly became "how many porn results do you get on page 1 without scrolling". Furries can be gross. :cryblood:
