Oh look, someone that completely misses the idea of what a "trend" is, by identifying literally one example of a transgender child in detail, and brief mentions of more....obvi there's trans kids in history, you idiot. Things exist before becoming "trends." Yous going to declare there is just as many trans children in 2021 as 1930? Sure jan.

Also, "Ms." instead of "Dr.", when they clearly are an associate proffessor, ergo have a degree.

There’s a story I know of a young transgender girl from rural Wisconsin, who before the age of 5 made it clear enough to her parents that she was a girl, not a boy, that they changed her name and dressed her in girl’s clothes. When the time came for her to go to school, her parents arranged with school administrators for her to attend as a girl. She used the girl’s bathroom and participated in the girls’ 4-H Club. All in all, she was treated with respect, not bullied or shunned.
Maybe you can picture a girl like that today. But can you picture her in the 1930s?
This girl, whom I call Val in the book I wrote on the history of transgender children, socially transitioned, went to school and participated in extracurricular activities over 90 years ago. And she was hardly alone. In my research, I found stories of transgender children like Val, who were able to transition and go to school despite living in times when their identities weren’t commonly acknowledged. They were not forced into transitioning by adults. And they were certainly not transitioning because it was trendy or socially popular.
The high visibility of transgender youth in this country is quite recent, but transgender children themselves are not. Indeed, as far back as historians like me have found evidence of transgender people, we have found transgender children. So why don’t most people know about kids like Val? One reason is that long before there were words like “transgender” to describe these people’s lives, they passed under the radar.
The past several months have witnessed an aggressive legal assault on transgender youth across the country. Dozens of bills presented in over 20 states — and signed into law by governors in several — seek to ban, or sometimes criminalize, transgender children’s access to health care and organized sports. One of the central assumptions underlying these state-level bills is that transgender children participating in sports or needing gender-affirming health care are new issues that did not exist until a few years ago, or that transgender childhood is a contemporary trend.

The idea that transgender youth are new and poorly understood, and therefore should be treated with intense caution and scrutiny, is reinforced by many opponents of trans children’s access to health care and sports. Perhaps the most literal example is Lisa Littman’s coining of the phrase “rapid onset gender dysphoria” (ROGD), for a supposed condition in which children “suddenly” become transgender because of peer influence and experience gender dysphoria without any warning — to their parents, that is.
ROGD is not a formal mental health diagnosis, and the journal that published Dr. Littman’s article issued a correction and an apology after an outpouring of criticism from doctors and advocates. Yet the term is still widely cited by right-wing media and was also offered without context by Mr. Backholm in his testimony to the Arkansas House.
These lines from Abigail Shrier’s 2020 book, “Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters,” capture the tenor of the skepticism floating around online: “Three decades ago, these girls might have hankered for liposuction while their physical forms wasted away. Two decades ago, today’s trans-identified teens might have ‘discovered’ a repressed memory of childhood trauma. Today’s diagnostic craze isn’t demonic possession — it’s ‘gender dysphoria.’”
But Ms. Shrier’s claim is not supported by the fact that children like Val have lived transgender lives long before, not to mention during, each of the time periods that she invokes when girls would have supposedly sought out a different path than transition. Transgender children from every region in the country and many different backgrounds have been able to transition as far back as medical opportunities have been available.

As a 17-year-old girl, Lane, who grew up in a small town in Missouri in the early 1940s, went to see her family doctor for advice. In 1969, Vicki, a 15-year-old trans girl, moved from rural Ohio to Columbus to live with her sister and find a doctor who could provide gender-affirming care. Around the same time in Los Angeles, a teenager named Georgina started hormones, changed her name and enrolled in a new school as a girl. And in 1973, a doctor in upstate New York familiarized himself with trans medicine in order to offer hormones and, when the time was right, a referral for top surgery for a 15-year-old trans boy.
Each of these children’s lives testify to just how possible it was, over many decades and in every corner of the country, for transgender children to flourish when supported.
If transgender youth have gone to the doctor, attended school and played sports for decades, then what reason is there to pursue this kind of legislation other than discrimination? Chase Strangio, the deputy director for transgender justice at the ACLU, said to CNN recently about the sports and health care bills, “I think the impulse underlying both is to try to establish governmental policy that it’s harmful to be trans.”
And what will be the outcome if these bills pass? As Dr. Michele Hutchison, a pediatric endocrinologist, explained in testimony to Arkansas lawmakers, “I guarantee you if this bill passes, children will die,” vowing to the state senators that “I will call you guys every single time one does.”
However politicized the visibility of transgender youth has become, with lives now hanging in the balance, Val’s story — and those of other transgender children — raises a powerful counterfactual case of a transgender child who not only transitioned young but also was able to grow up into a successful adult. In fact, Val was one of the first trans women to try (though unsuccessfully) to obtain access to surgery in the United States in the 1940s.
Despite all the obstacles she faced in a period where there was little understanding of transgender people, Val persevered. And so will today’s transgender youth. The question is whether we adults will choose to abandon them — or to care for them so that they can grow up, like Val.

Yeah, and puberty blockers, HRT, gender-related cosmetic surgery, and SRS have been happening since the beginning of time too. We have a robust dataset on the hundreds of millions of trans children since the stone age. Governments aren't even just restricting those procedures either, that Arkansas bill actually forces elementary school children to ID as their birth sex and conform to a set of specific conservative gender norms. It's fucking genocide honestly.

People at my organization were encouraged to take the implicit association test from Harvard, and boy howdy did this get a little too Brave New World for me to continue.

They switch it around at another stage of the test. I did find it interesting that I kept on fucking up that section, but as soon as I was asked to assign bad words to the tranny side of the screen I got it perfectly every time. I think that they might have been correct when they said
Your data suggest strong automatic preference for Cisgender People over Transgender People.
Of course, that should have been obvious from the answers I gave at the end.

No cis woman would dare to do that sort of thing. I'm sure he goes by Jvnko because he loves that she was raped and tortured to death and it's Aesthetic ™ (or a fetish). Why the fuck are TIMs so predatory and gross?
Oh, there is absolutely zero doubt in my mind that he eroticizes the idea of being a young girl who gets raped and murdered.

Edit:
Looked at more of the implicit associated tests, the sexuality test is very similar, exceptionalities for gay people instead of trans people. And instead of pictures of specific gay people it's little silhouettes of two women or a straight couple and terms like "heterosexual" and "gay women" and stuff. I actually liked this test less because the mix of words and images (both in terms of words both being used as good/bad words and sexualities and also sexualities both being represented with words and images) made it a lot more confusing. For example, I kept on trying to put "straight" into the good words because I was thinking of it in the sense of being honest or direct.
In case you're wondering, I got
Your responses suggested a slight automatic preference for Gay people over Straight people.
(which I think was in large part due to me stumbling over this test a lot more).

But the reason I'm talking about this test is because it had a question that definitely seems out of place

The troon community should cancel him.
A transphobic tranny, didn't expect to see that!

Also more tranny insanity

Bold of this troon to say this when 99.9% of troons are not only into being used as truckstop gloryholes, but also into "transphobic" narratives of sissy/tranny/shemale porn. This kind of stuff is straight up based on the idea that they're deranged men, and virtually all of them find it hot.

Make a trans girl's wish come true - call him a man today! I even have an idea for a tranny humiliation facility where industrial quantities of troons are subjected to their favorite misgendering fetish. No need to thank me, I'm just an ally.

It's a little bit cliché to bring up the speedrunning-tranny dichotomy, but I lost my shit when I saw this. It was brought up in the Speedrunning community watch thread but it comes complete with five hilarious characters, thought I'd share it here and give it a proper post.

Holy fuck I didn't think it could get this fucking bad hahahah

I don't think women even do this type of stuff. This is the closest you'll get to a woman in this community.

Gamergate 5.0 is going to be fucking weird.
The only thing missing is Brianna Wu's terribly autistic facial expressions.

At times like this I find myself thinking that, for all her faults, Anita Sarkeesian may well have had a point about the patriarchy.

I don't think women need to be concerned about the patriarchy promoting untrue stereotypes about what a woman is.

"I wear a dress, therefore I am a woman."
Tell that to femboys.

"I liked to play with barbies as a kid, therefore I am a woman."
Don't tell that to any boy who enjoyed playing house because it meant they could hang with girls.

"I like to wear makeup, therefore I am a woman."
Last time I checked, so does Marilyn Manson, and he's more queer than your tryhard ass will ever be; also, not a woman, and also a ritual abuser.

"I like being with girls more than guys, and I love women, therefore I am a lesbian."
You're just a hyper-sexual straight guy, or you're extremely socially awkward and girls hang with you out of pity.

No tranny excuse has ever been anything other than cope wrapped around bigotry. Women will not be able to show the nuances of what separates womanhood from femininity for as long as trannies use the exact same rhetoric as chauvinists to excuse their deviant behavior.

This is an interesting project, dump enough of them in there and it should give us big enough data to make a call. For individuals, I did find that transmen “passed” more often than transwomen, which I theorize is because women read men’s writing but men don’t read women’s, so they’re probably subconsciously more skilled at it. But it would be interesting to see if that holds true across a larger sample.
I think women just give more of a shit about how they present themselves. Combine a troon with the presentational laziness of guys and you got a recipe for a tranny botchamania.

Are there actual female speedrunners to begin with? It’s a hobby that’s both male dominated and extremely autistic. Most butch women are normies, and most autistic women aren’t mega obsessed with vidya like men are. I’ll accept there’s plenty of women who like guns and cars and fishing and so on, but speedrunning?
I think I saw one running a Tomb Raider game at an ESA once. I want to say there's one more I saw but can't remember.

I've seen less than five total shall we say. And I've been following speedrunning for FAR too long.

I think one of the reasons, you know besides the troons, is because women generally aren't as obsessed with trying to hold the world record in a category that only a dozen people even run. They generally enjoy playing games for the fun of it, not to prove how good they are and *cough cough* grow their e-penis.

Edit: The runner I remember is Beckski93. I'm pretty sure she's cis, but I wouldn't put money on it since I don't follow her.

There are a few women but they are fat or those "alternative types"

Speedrunning demands too much autism and OCD to become good and women autism isn't the same as men.

The few women I saw spedrunning where real bad at it and unfunny as fuck.

Honestly Modern TF2 (from what I heard) is like somewhat of a shitshow. You got the bots, the 485032th released hat, the textures devolving over time and how it never gets main updates or event updates.
Halloween always gets updated regularly with maps and cosmetics, bots arent as big an issue with dedicated servers and coordinated efforts from players, and despite only 2 employees working on the game, thousands of people still log on.

That said, trannies play Overwatch and Overwatch 2. Easier skill entry and more trendy points
