I think a pretty easy consensus is to say that Corpse might have Gerds, but no matter what, Gerds or not, he fucked himself over by branding that as his voice and drinking burning alcohol with that sort of condition. It’ll just damage his throat farther and eventually he’ll be unintelligible. His success is his own detriment.
Oh for sure. If it really is so bad that it's making him sound like that, he needs to take it more seriously. It's possible that he does have gerd but that it doesn't affect his voice and he just says that it does so that people don't accuse of him doing a fake voice to sound cool.

A majority of people watching it that aren't in the kids demographic purely do it because it's collab content. Collabs have always done well in the algorithm since the viewer sees their favorite creators interacting, Among Us is a boring ass game but people like Corpse monopolized on it since it's a game that doesn't really require skill hence why he managed to pull people like AOC and now Jimmy Fallon playing with him.
My friend who simps for all of them is older, like 28-29, I don't see the appeal in them, they seem to not have much personality, Valkyrae just screams and does the uwu shit. It probably depends a lot on what group you're watching. I started watching because a lot of Destiny (the shootmans game, not the lolcow) youtubers got into it during the content draught when Beyond Light was delayed, and they're largely guys in their 30s with wives/LTGFs who are used to making light of games where you can get screwed over by crazy BS, so they knew how to have fun with it.
