As for the others. Why can’t people wear skirts. They don’t NEEED to be turned into shorts or have shorts underneath. What’s wrong with just a skirt?

that’s something that is really odd to me how artists will change feminine designs to be more modest like that. But then claim women can wear whatever they want and shouldn’t have to hide their bodies.

Also BY GOD the colors on teto are SO bad. The bluegray is too Light for that red and they clash HORRIBLY.
And the random blue shirt under neru’s outfit? Why. It doesn’t fit in. It’s not just a splash of color for some difference. It’s literally just awful to look at.
And the way this artist draws eyes. Like why are the pupils + iris SLITS. On neru they’re sorta hard to notice.
idk if that bugs anyone else but I think it’s a really poor style choice

jojo part 1 had a great theme song but the story was not that intresting
jojo part 2 had a good story and was ok
jojo part 3 was the best and i saw the last episode as almost a finale for the series.
jojo part 4 was ok...... but i prefered the last like 5 episodes .i stopped at 4
jojo part 5 looked too gay for me
was not a fan of the artstyle change.it look worst in part 5
part 6 does not interest me

ok (I watched only three first JoJo parts, because they are only ones on Netflix with good Polish translations, besides the fact, that I watched first 20 episodes on CDA), but ok, let's go
Part 1- Interesting, Underrated, Easy to understand, with nice Victorian atmosphere unintentionally Homoerotic with nice ship (JonaDio), but with blank protagonist (Comparing to SBR)
Part 2- way cooler than first, has everything from stereotypical American 80's action movie, nice plot and protagonist
Part 3-Nice "drive movie" variation with Cool characters, OST, , but tiring af from schemes. But I think the finale and feels is enough reward for this

It's not just Jojo, that goes for a huge majority of media. These people hate any kind of conflict, no matter the reason.
Friend needs to smack some sense in an another friend? Nah, they would prefer if they would talk it over.
Someone challenges someone? Coffeeshop AU!
Someone glares at someone! Rape, needs to be cancelled.
World-ending threat? Villain needs a hug.
Conflict is so important to a plot yet these people are so sheltered that they can't handle the fact that conflict exists, or that seemingly 'rooted' bad guys can turn good (Stroheim for a classic Jojo example, he just doesn't exist in their eyes). They are more focused on making cute coffeshop AUs where absolutely nothing is happening and is filled with inchorent ramblings trying to be 'character interactions' that doesn't fit the characters. They want everyone to kiss, make-up, and have sex; but even Carebears know when to have interesting conflict and literal lovebombs than just figuratively lovebombing everyone to death ala Steven Universe.

In all honesty, JoJo without the concept of important characters dying to give the protagonists motivation and what not just makes it feel empty. Same for a lot of media, actually.

I second this. I understand skirts not being super practical , but even as a teenager most girls aren't so active that they need to wear shorts under their skirt. The girls who are active probably aren't even wearing skirts, and for what it's worth, cheerleaders (who are active and wear skirts) usually have special skirts that come with gussets that cover their underpants anyway.

I think that's more the dumbfuck's problem for thinking about what could possibly be under a teenage girl's skirt, than the teenage girl wearing a skirt?? As it is, nobody (except MAYBE small children) wears actual separate pairs of shorts beneath their skirts, and even if that became a trend, how would that change the thoughts of perverts who are creeping on teenage girls? If they never see under the girls' skirts anyway, why would it matter what she's actually wearing?

After reading you’re posts, I realize that I didn’t make sound arguments and I probably should have thought out my argument more since I did accidentally imply that skirts were sexual in a way. That wasn’t my intention with the original reply but I can see how it came off as such so I do apologize for that.

My post was kind of a knee jerk reaction to seeing the original opinion being in response to the redesigns, which explicitly listed two of the three characters made into minors.

I kind of thought the argument was going in favor of those trashy animes where ambiguously or clearly underage girls are shown to be wearing nothing but their underwear under their skirts when in real life 99% school uniforms (or most outfits for that age rage) would have some kind of shorts underneath for modesty reasons. Again, I apologize for thinking that was were the argument was going. I just thought it was something worth pointing out or calling to attention.

I think the upside to Jojo Part 6 coming soon is that the art is now going to have make SJW artists either double down or try to do double think on characters like picture quoted.

They’ll honestly get confused enough to not know whether or not to support it.
