That head of the teaching union? Maskholes are retards anyway, but if you're so fucking fat you need to buy XL masks to cover your chins then you deserve to die.

Best thing China did with WuFlu was make it so good at smiting fats. It's why Africa and India have fared so well. Sure there's obese middle classes in both continents (as there are in middle classes everywhere) but they're not the rule like in the USA/Canada and Europe.

Madman tried his best.

Norwegian skier fails in bid to slalom around Covid quarantine rules

A Norwegian man who tried to evade his country’s virus quarantine system by skiing back from Sweden had to be rescued after bad weather thwarted his expedition.

“He wanted to return to Norway to get hold of some documents, and then go back into Sweden, where he has a construction project on the go,” said Trond Helge Ronning, of the rescue group Norske Folkehjelp.

“But to avoid the quarantine he decided to cross the border over the mountains,” said Ronning from Tydal, a village near the border with Sweden.

In all, it would have been a 25-mile (40km) journey over difficult terrain, he said. But the man, who is in his 50s, ran into bad weather after 25km of his trek on Saturday.

A local reindeer herder rescued him, handing him over to two fishers at a nearby lake, who looked after him until the rescue services arrived, said Ronning.

“He was soaked through and he was cold”, as well as being annoyed and unapologetic, said the rescue worker.

The rescue services took care of the man before handing him over to police for having violated coronavirus quarantine rules.

Local police told AFP that the man should have presented a negative Covid test to the authorities before making the crossing – and then spend 10 days in quarantine in a hotel.

“That’s valid even for a Norwegian citizen,” said a senior police official in the Trondelag district.

The man will have to sit out his hotel quarantine before interviewed by officers.

It doesn't matter, the WHO has condemned lockdowns before as being ineffective yet causing a massive increase in inequality, mental health issues, and domestic violence, yet they still want us to believe lockdowns work.

India is full of fatasses. Unlike Africa, India has a huge middle class and they damn well love to chug curry down their gullets and chain smoke. India is basically a poor as fuck version of China but obesity is still an issue. It's like Mexico (or China), urban Indians easily get enough food and it's full of fats and utterly unhealthy, and they don't get enough exercise.

Hey, I stand corrected then, thank you. Is that just because of the increase in popularity of Western diets over there over the last few decades? I know Indian people in the West tend to pork out pretty fast if they're eating what we typically would, it's like they can't get away with it, almost.

I know ghee is an ingredient that makes my arteries shudder to be honest.

LOL Come on, man! Jesus, he and Biden even talk the same. Biden AIDS crisis when?

Fauci responded, asking: “How bizarre is that? Think about it for a second. Isn’t that a little weird? I mean, come on.”

Biden to move up deadline to make all adults eligible for COVID-19 vaccine by April 19
WASHINGTON – President Biden is set to announce Tuesday that he is moving up his call for all U.S. adults to become eligible to receive a coronavirus vaccine to April 19, two weeks sooner than his initial goal of May 1, according to a White House official.

The president is also expected to tout that the United States is the first country to administer 150 million COVID-19 vaccine doses, which puts the country on track to meet Biden's goal of administering 200 million shots in his first 100 days in office, according to the official who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the matter.

The announcement, first reported by CNN, comes as the president is scheduled to visit a vaccination site at the Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Va., on Tuesday before delivering remarks on the state of vaccinations at the White House.

Biden announced last week that 90% of all American adults would be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine by April 19 and directed the federal government to ensure that the same percentage of Americans would live within five miles of a vaccination site. The timeline moved up his previous goal of making all U.S. adults eligible for a vaccine by May 1.

New York and Maryland will open vaccine eligibility to those who are 16 years or older on Tuesday, the day after 12 states did the same as the country continues in its race against spreading variants. The two states will join a dozen others that opened up vaccinations to all over 16:

  • Alabama
  • Florida
  • Idaho
  • Iowa
  • Kentucky
  • Nebraska
  • Nevada
  • New Mexico
  • Michigan
  • South Dakota
  • Tennessee
  • Wisconsin

Biden's announcement comes as the U.S. continues to report a high level of cases, with 452,636 cases reported in the week ending Monday, a 20% increase from two weeks earlier.

The U.S. has continued to ramp up its pace of daily vaccinations, with an average of more than three million doses administered a day, compared with less than one million in January, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The Biden administration announced over the week that the U.S. hit 4 million doses administered in a 24-hour period, a new record the president is expected to tout

Biden doing something based, good luck getting your appointments , will go fast. Also don't forget to stay safe, wear a mask and keep 2 meters in busy places everyone.

An underrated aspect of why wearing a mask during intense physical activity is retarded is because it dehydrates you extremely quickly. A lesson I've been reminded of this morning due to new "restrictions". I even saw a few people wearing their mask in the change room for some reason (technically you're "supposed" to at the gym but there's no changing monitor yet).
Yeah, try going up and down 4 sets of these fuckers masked like I had to do in one of the fort museums last year -

Visit an Indian restaurant (or get takeout from one because kungflu lol), order an appetizer like a soup, order some naan, and order a curry or rice dish. Lots of ghee of course in the curry or biryani or whatever, it's spread over the naan, and there's even some in the soup. That's what your average Indian aspires to eat every day because their elites eat that when they aren't eating more Western fare (to their credit, they do avoid steak aside from the Muzzies and worse, Pakis). Oh, and the Indians are all over Kenya and Tanzania (they are Gujaratis aka "Patels") in Africa. They used to be in Uganda too before Idi Amin decided they weren't welcome in his country of proud Africans.

I'd read about Idi Amin before. Funnily enough, the tards who support burn, loot and murder really don't like it when you point out an independent african country expelled other non whites. Can't possibly think why, haha.

The latest bullshit from the county I live in.

BREAKING NEWS FROM THE CARMEL PINE CONE

April 6, 2021, 11:00 a.m.

MONTEREY COUNTY MOVES TO ORANGE TIER

• Businesses, gyms, museums, restaurants, etc. can expand operations starting tomorrow

With new cases of coronavirus continuing to decline and vaccinations growing at an impressive rate, the California Department of Public Health said this morning that a key threshold has been met that will allow Monterey County to move into the Orange Tier of the state's economic shutdown plan. This means that businesses, museums, restaurants, tasting rooms and other entities in the county can start operating under Orange Tier rules effective April 7.(Whoop-de-fucking-do. Felt in my pants and checked if I'd done anything. Nope. No fucks given. - JS)

The change comes because more than 4 million doses of coronavirus vaccine have now been administered in what officials consider the "least healthy" places in the state. With that threshold having been met, the CDPH raised the score required for the Orange Tier from 3.9 to 5.9 — a standard Monterey County has already been in compliance with since March 16.

Among other things, the Orange Tier provides that restaurants and other businesses will be able to increase capacity to 50 percent from 25 percent, gyms can increase from ten percent capacity to 25 percent, and many types of indoor and outdoor gatherings that had been banned can resume.

For months, Monterey County was in the highly restrictive Purple Tier. On March 16 it moved to the Red Tier. Just three weeks later, today's move to the Orange Tier shows how rapidly the coronavirus epidemic has declined here, with about 100 new infections happening per week, down from more than 4,000 a week in early January. Meanwhile, nearly 200,000 vaccinations doses have been administered in Monterey County — a number that is increasing by about 4,000 every day.(But not me! 🖕 - JS)

CALIFORNIA EXPECTS ALL RESTRICTIONS ON BUSINESSS, ACIVITIES TO END JUNE 15

Dr. Marc Ghaly, head of the California Department of Public Health, said this morning that vaccination rates in the state had increased so much and Covid-19 had declined so rapidly, the state would end all restrictions on businesses and public gatherings effective June 15.(What a fucking joke, long as people still must wear masks. - JS)

"We are going to be moving beyond having capacity limits and focus on having as many Californians as possible get vaccinated," Ghaly said during a morning conference call with reporters. "The color-coded system as it’s devised now will no longer be in effect after June 15, provided vaccines are sufficiently available and all Californians over 16 who want to get vaccinated can get vaccinated, and provided that the low level of disease and hospitalizations that we've had continue."(STILL not getting vaccinated. STILL not enough to save Nazi Newsom from being recalled. They can go bite my crank. - JS)

People will still be required to wear masks, he said, and many of the state's social distancing recommendations will remain in effect, especially for very large concerts and conventions, "but activities will be able to resume and businesses will be able to reopen with common sense." (I don't give a flying fuck, I just want to do without the fucking mask. - JS)

Holy Christ, I hate this elbow bump shit. Just use hand sanitizer and shake hands like an actual Human.

It's even worse in motion, all of them double mask and move away from each other.

I seriously fucking despise these condescending, tone deaf, and tired gestures they keep shoving down our throats.
Hey, guys could slap their dicks together vice elbow bumps. 👍
Personally, I just shake hands with people. Rarely encounter fist bumps, etc.

Meet Randi Weingarten, President of American Federation of Teachers, the second largest teachers union in the US. She thinks schools are too dangerous to return to atm, but is fine with flying around in a private jet to meet with the governor, teachers, and union officials.
Two thoughts come to mind:

  1. This is yet another example of the rules for thee not for me mindset bigwigs and other people in positions of power/prestige believe themselves to have.
  2. Local units of The American Federation of Teachers tend to be more militant and activist than those that affiliate with the National Education Association. Detroit's teachers union is a unit of the AFT, and they have a rather militant faction of members that have allied themselves with BAMN (By Any Means Necessary). I believe it's the BAMN-affiliated teachers that have complained in the past that Detroit students, especially the impoverished ones, aren't getting properly educated yet they now want all learning to be virtual even though it appears virtual learning is making the education gap worse for those same students living in poverty they're supposedly standing up for 🤷‍♂️ .

Upon the Sword of Equity it falls, as I imagined it would. Unless they just sneakily reboot the idea later by another name. (archive)

I love the "We need to know why"; like UV light 1) killing the virus outside the body directly and 2) supplying vitamin D and an energy surplus are fucking mystery concepts.

Soooo...shit we have been saying for the entirety of 2020 and were called names for daring to suggest that maybe Corona's true cure is simply taking better care of yourself (which takes effort) than to wait for the government to create a magic potion to bail you wait with no effort ?

When you look that way, it seems it was a lot of ignorance and lazyness from the people.
Where I live, banks still aren't allowing people inside without an appointment. It's been drive thru for an entire year now.

Walked into a bank today w/o a mask, and no hassle. But I walk through a farmers market and get accosted.
Its a fucking nightmare to go on banks where I live and given how our government economically fucked us, we are forced to go there more frequently and I see old ladies cooking under the hot sun in the lines that go outside of the building.

So much for protecting granny, huh?

Banks are probably loving this tho, they can function with half capacity and gain all fruits as if they were working normally. Why WOULD they want things normal again?

It's not like I had a choice to go through it. The Karen got into my face, so i coughed on her. Somebody yelled "call the police!" It was pretty funny, and felt very proud of myself.

I remember during this Easter, I was doing kind of a last second egg buying for my family and the place was predictably full, but oh wait, there is a Karen at the door with an ARMED GUARD saying that only like, 15 people can be inside at all times. I told her I found this insane and innefective and she threw the "Im just doing my work, sir". She was also taking the temperature of everyone and forcing them to wash their hands on alcahool. I sighed and waited in line, when I got inside I basically refused to let my temperature get taken because, I quote, "Im a young man in my prime and I havent been majorly sick in YEARS, Im fine!". She basically told me that either I do it or I wont be allowed in. I had the guts to tell her "Watch me..." and walked in,she began going into Hall inspector mode and telling that to everyone I didnt take my temp...I sighed again and gave her my hand, she took my temp and I "accidentally" coughed close to her. "Idk what has gotten over me, hehe" and walked quickly deeper into the store.

Seriously, guys, I cant fucking stand this public humiliation, day in DAY OUT!

I just thought about this: How badly did theme parks get fucked? Of all the people getting couped up in their homes, I never really thought about theme parks until now. What would they look like in the future?

To be fair, given how most theme parks are owned by mega corps, Im not exactly losing sleep over any of them losing money.

When they suffer, true capitalists rejoice...then again, they can just ask the government to bail them out so...guess not.

Except the part where the pandemic doesn't close businesses, stupid/powertripping/malicious politicians do. I can't stand the people who blame the "pandemic" for the reason something is closed or they can't do it. No, the only thing stopping you from doing it is politicians and idiot bureaucrats. The measures forced on the world are pure insanity for a disease with such minor effects and death rate, and then you realize that the politicians can't even manage their own asinine pandemic response right.

Hey, Im basically suffering on the end of these politicians playing "pandemic" with out livelyhoods, people love to bring up how our unique strains (because of course we do, everywhere does, like a fucking rite of passage or latest gimmick) are killing younger people and I god damn assure you that they are omiting a lot of context behind those deaths.

All I want is to serve people the best pizza, make them happy so I can earn their money and be happy myself, thus fulfilling the healthy cycle of capitalism that kept us going for generations. Is that ask too much?
