Christ, poor kids. You just know that Atlas is going to end up like Cal Hartley, although (hopefully?) with less publicity; either Luna kicks the bucket early and he'll never stop hearing about how brave his big sister was and how much she loved him and is always watching over him... or, like the Hartley Hasselbacks, they somehow keep her vegetating long enough to make it to teen/adulthood, and it'll get drilled into his head that his greatest accomplishment will always be being Luna's brother.

Years and years of having to cart her around to every sports event, school dance, vacation, anywhere he could possibly go in public and be himself - nope, it would be soooo mean to leave his big sister behind because she wants to go so badly. Every single photograph of him will have him plastering on a pained smile next to the bobble-husk. Every congratulatory post from his mom about his birthdays or awards will always be punctuated with gushing about how he's such a good little brother to his beautiful, strong, brave, inspirational warrior girl sister. Every Google search made by his employers or acquaintances will be met with Luna's bulging head and that perpetual, empty look of surprise with eyes roving about randomly like a goddamn Chuck E. Cheese animatronic. He will always be, first and foremost, Atlas Ramirez the brother of Luna Ramirez.

Give me the top hats, but the less favored sibling always knows it, and on top of Robyn's crunchy mama bullshit it's going to be fucking devastating for him. I would almost hope something goes wrong with him so he doesn't have to consciously experience what will doubtlessly be an incredibly shitty childhood. *sigh* Hurry up, CPS!

Orgasmic childbirth was a big topic in mommy communities about 10 years ago and the followers were some real degenerates, talking about masturbating while in labor in the hospital (the ones who went anyway) and how they were screaming in orgasm the moment their child came into the world. I recall a post by a woman who was upset that her midwife wouldn't allow her to use a vibrator while in labor. These are the kind of women who show up with a birth plan in a thick ass binder and demand you follow every step of it or they have complete fucking meltdowns. When things go wrong, they often have to be sedated in order to complete the birth. They came up with a term for that too, "birth rape". That's right, rape, they claim that doctors basically rape them by reaching in and pulling out the child in a way they didn't consent to.

I've heard of sex as an attempt at inducing labor (which may or may not be effective; I don't know), and for some reason I assumed that's what it referred to. Masturbating during labor is just a whole kettle of crazy.

So still going through followers to find some good things to post..actually had to just report an account for CP that she follows.

Let's just say she follows someone who likes to post pics of her breastfeeding her 5 and 6 year old with all of them naked on full display....

The Empathic Nutrionist since we all know you read this. That is fucking sick!

You find SO much crazy in the mommy communities online. Babycenter was probably the worst one I'd ever seen when it came to toxicity, it was full of crazy women constantly fighting over how best to raise babies. The woo women all believe they love their babies more than the moms who have their babies in hospitals, get epidurals, feed formula, get their babies vaccinated etc. Then they're also all trying to top each other on how safe/clean/natural they are. They all end up pushing each other and shaming each other into all sorts of stupid shit. The end result is mom's like this one, even though she's seen first hand the negative effects of her decisions, it can't possibly be her fault, she did everything right!

Good... morning? :C

Luna's doing the Italian hand thing... I wonder if it's just the decorticate posturing or if she's gonna have gnarled Hartley hand contractures. Mmm... feta cheese.

Also, not to tinfoil hat because it could just be the lighting or some godawful tan filter, but doesn't the "front" of her foot look weirdly red? Possible essential oil inflammation or even chemical burn?

Atlas is definitely not old enough to be placed in a high chair - the recommendation is five or six months minimum, depending on manufacturer and the child’s individual development. Hell, you shouldn’t even put a baby in a bumbo seat before three months. This is an injury waiting to happen at best.

If she can't birth a tard she's going to induce a tard through accidents.

I love laughing at cows but seeing cows have children just does something to me. I don't feel sorry for her but I feel like she's going to be a horribly negligent mother. Your kid was born deformed, get off the fucking social media instead of thriving on it and go find out a way to make your kid have the best life it can under the circumstances YOU caused.

She probably won't live as long for it to be that severe, but I'm sure the damage is already irreversible, just like everything else about Luna. Her foot drop is getting worse, too.

From the site of the chiro:
1617755985823.png

"The reality is, it’s never a bad time to start seeing a chiropractor. It is perfectly safe for infants and young children to see a chiropractor. In fact, infants can benefit greatly from a chiropractor because they are trained to assess an infant’s hips, necks, and collarbones.
As children grow up, regular visits to the chiropractor are important. If you notice your child is expressing discomfort with their back and or neck, avoids certain activities, or is displaying poor posture, that is a sign that you should take them to see a chiropractor."

"For mothers-to-be seeking to reduce discomfort without the use of drugs or surgery, chiropractic care with the Webster Technique is a trusted and reliable solution for thousands of women all over the world. At Anchor Chiropractic, our doctors are certified in this technique and ready to help you move towards optimal health and comfort for both you and your baby.
A quicker more comfortable labor and better positioning for delivery are just a few of the reasons why women turn to chiropractic care during pregnancy. Treatment is also supportive for those wishing to have a drug-free vaginal birth with as few interventions as possible. Regular chiropractic adjustments can also address common complaints such as headaches, back and leg pain.
The Webster Technique centers on applying strategic, gentle pressure to the pelvis which restores alignment and causes the uterus to relax. As a result, a baby can find more room to turn heads-down and mom can find greater comfort. Feeling good during pregnancy can help mom keep up her normal routine, exercise regimen and regular range of motion. All of these factors contribute to a greater chance of a birth with fewer (or no!) medical interventions."

"If you’re aware that your baby is in breech position, please contact us to be seen as soon as possible. The later in the pregnancy you wait, the larger the baby is and the more effort will be required to get them to turn to a heads-down position. That said, it can be possible to encourage a baby to turn as late as the 38th or 39th week of pregnancy with the help of a certified Webster practitioner."

So it's fine for them to masturbate in front of doctors and nurses (who didn't consent to having a woman try to coom during birth in front of them) while giving birth, but being sedated so the doctors can pull the baby out because the birth is going wrong is literal rape.
