It's shit like this. "Every time I see a white person I assume they think Chauvin is innocent but any time I see a POC I assume they're hip cool and assume he's guilty". It's fucking bizarre that these people want homogenous Jury's because they assume they'll vote one way. It reduces people's agency and I think this is the actual bigotry that doesn't get talked about.

Personally, I think the trial will lose mainstream coverage once it's the Defence's turn until it's time for the Jury. The Defence may convince the Jury to acquit, but the average person won't see that in the news rotation. They'll see plenty of all the brave black witnesses the prosecution brought in, maybe a video of that child witness to pull heartstrings. There will be more riots, another bail fund, more race grifting nation-wide, and a bunch of CashApp shilling from randos on every stream.

Maybe Chauvin could have done more, maybe things could have went differently if he did but Floyd was definitely tripping balls before he got in that car as we can see from the convinence store video. To say that he should have been allowed to drive off is foolish and could have resulted in even more death. I don't think Chauvin is gonna get out of this unscathed, but to say he's guilty of murder is utter lunacy. I would think much less of him if he knowingly let a drugged out man drive off cause he was scared of appearing racist.
