Any guesses on the new pet?

I would say a turtle or bunny, but they sound like lots of work.

I was going to go with Hamsters, but:

1. Reminds him of Leanna.
2. Jasper would probably have a field day with them.

If he gets another cat it's going to be a fucking disaster. You can't just drop a new cat into a house where one is already living as there will immediately and inevitably be stress. You have to acclimate New Cat to the space and slowly introduce the two animals so they get accustomed to one another. Jasper probably has a personality disorder as it is with being locked up in one room every single day, and God help the poor little bastard if New Cat still has its claws.

Bonus points for guessing Phil’s justification for going:

1) Kat May die of loneliness if they don’t get another pet.

2) They just went for fun because Kat loves animals (I assume in a similar way to how Lenny from Of Mice and Men loves rabbits).

3) Jasper escaped / died of boredom and he needs to replace him before Kat gets suspicious.

4) None of your fucking business you mentally ill detractor scumbag.

If that turns out to be the case, then its a easy example of neglect/abuse since goldfish are basically pondfish that can get as big as a football and put out tons of ammonia.
