The subtext of the prosecution's argument regarding not doing first aid or CPR before the ambulance got there is cops should ignore an angry crowd which emboldens it and if they work themselves up to where they mob the cops well shit happens acab
So they’re saying cops shouldn’t do crowd control?

Nelson and prosecutor guy seem to get along. I like to think that they’re secretly buddies
That's usually how lawyers are. Can't be at each other's throats in what is supposed to be a calm, rational proceeding. Lawyers are always negotiating and discussing how they'll act.

Well, we all know SJWs are fond of imposing Catch-22's.

Exhibit A. September of last year. Lady freaks the fuck out when police pull her over saying her car is in their system as stolen. Turns out it was in their system because her boyfriend used her car in a drive by shooting. Her performance allowed him to flea the scene while she's arrested for her behavior. I think at some point she starts saying she can't breathe

Here she is apologizing at intake lol

This is so standard for black women it's scary, and they'll roll this exact same shit with the exact same level if they feel like they should get their meal for free. If you've deal with them on a day to day basis, the only way to survive is to just tune it out into static. But you need to pay attention, because the scream of a black woman attracts black bystanders who will all take her side if they see a cop doing anything. It's like a nigger siren that just forms a mob.

Twatter people think Nelson is “secretly throwing this case” but anyone watching thinks the prosecution is not-so-secretly throwing this case.

It's not really an issue of throwing the case. The problem is that the facts do not cut in favor of the prosecution and there's really nothing the prosecutor can do to change that.

If the past few years have taught us anything, it's that... "Twitter people" have disproportionate influence on the public. I don't think social media is so heavily-curated and prone to collusion by mere accident. The jurors are likely to ignore this judge's advice, look for input on this case (via the internet) and get ideas from hovels like Twitter.

I agree. I kind of feel for them because if this doesn't go their way they're going to be under the scrutiny with how they "fucked up a slam dunk"... when legally (yes, twitter, legal cases are determined legally, not based on emotion) they don't have much to stand on.

They could definitely be pushing for the manslaughter charge (which they could still get imo), but the public will still be pissed at that. Clearly Chauvin is a white supremacist 1st degree murderer

He's a big guy.

A lot of people don't understand that once the cops are on the scene and paying a LOT of attention to you, you've lost that part of the fight. You're probably going to the station, and you're going to beat whatever rap it is they think they've got you on there and beyond with legal counsel if you've got two braincells to ram together hard enough for a spark.
To quote the lovely Marilyn Milian:

You can beat the rap but you can't beat the ride.

I thought in high profile cases jurors were required to be disconnected from tv/internet? Is that not a thing, because that's extremely depressing if it's not.

I mean, look at how cities like Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, and Trenton went from working, thriving, and beautiful cities to complete shitholes.
NYC was actually in pretty good shape under. . .I hate to say it. . .but Giuliani.

It's not just black women.
I saw a pair of sisters that were whiter than mayonnaise get busted shoplifting, that started screeching at the managers and workers as though they were the victims. That day, it got them what they wanted and they walked out with a shit-ton of merchandise, laughing to themselves about what a clever thing they'd pulled off. Other times it didn't work and they'd get arrested and tresspassed from the store, neither thing was a deterrant from their chosen lifestyle.
Trash gonna be trash.

If they did, it would be clear cut grounds for a mistrial. I don't know WHY this jury isn't sequestered, but even if they aren't there are some strict rules about what they can do in their offtime.

Wouldn't you be pretty pissed if the police pulled you over to tell you that your car is stolen and your car isn't stolen?

The sheer incompetence of law enforcement and their utter lack of accountability should concern anyone.

Roughly the same time his incident occurred cops in Aurora pulled over a black family at gun point, tried to handcuff a six year old, and made them lay on the hot asphalt because their van's plate was reported stolen

The reality is the van shared the same plate number as a MOTORCYCLE reported stolen out of a neighboring state. Literally 30 seconds and some common sense would have told you that a motorcycle plate is smaller than a car plate and they couldn't be the same vehicle.

The cops are so eager to go LARP as seal team six they can't be bothered to validate the most basic elements of a case.
