You ain't missing shit. Jerma is the only stream I can tolerate, probably because his politics don't match twitch's, judging by the only political rant he ever did (Teardown stream).

I'd watch JSchlatt, but his chat is actual cancer AIDS because of his Carson affiliation.

YouTube might be garbage, but at least their community standards are looser for streamers and they do not have a bunch of troons and deer people deciding your fate. While also monitoring and punishing you for off site shit.

It doesn't help that there's no reason to even sign in to watch anything. You only sign in if you have the need to comment on streams or sub and there's no reason to sub. It's not like you get anything besides a shoutout. I get more out of Patreon 3d model accounts I "sub" to.

Also, I have no idea who any of those people are. I only ever watched Gassymexican's Friday streams and last I heard from him was that his girlfriend left him in June. Almost like women use streamers to become popular themselves then ditch the guy once they're popular enough.

That's the bit. The stream controls Jerma, as opposed to the normal streamer format where the streamer controls chat.
I don't think a lot of people realize that Jerma's constant bickering with the chat is just Boston shit. He explains his actions to chat much like Bill Burr (obviously not as funny).

The reason why I think he knows what he's doing is because I've seen him drift chat towards where he wants to go when he needs to, rather than confronting them directly. He usually does this through the skits he does with himself, or by bargaining with chat until he gets something he can work with. If he truly gave in to everything his manic af chat said, the stream would be more cluttered than a hoarder house.

A great example of him not giving into chat was during a Super Monkey Ball stream, where chat was autistically screaming at him for 10-20 minutes because he couldn't beat one of the hardest levels in the game quick enough for their liking. He just went business as usual on their asses and turned it into a bit once the level was realllly starting to drag on. Another good example would be when he streamed a game that chat hated for three streams, and turned chat's hatred for the game into a running gag.

At the end of the day though, I really don't care about spazzing chats unless they're spewing stan garbage like JSchlatt's fans. Jerma's chat will routinely go from swarms of trans flags, to swarms of "BASED". There's just nobody else who streams like Jerma once you get used to his stream. Craziest variety of games I've ever seen played by a streamer too. If you ever wanted to see the definition of a streamer working for his money, he is that guy.

This isn't new, they're just being more blatant about it.

Even without this there really isn't any reason to use Twitch anymore. Most streamers are thots, soys or sellouts, mods and jannies are mad with power, the culture is just cancer. I prefer watching small Youtube streamers.

Though, give it time and Youtube will implement this too.
