So, Alteori (basically a discount Shoe0nHead) went off on an incoherent rant last week about anti-Asian discrimination.
Sometimes you come across a comment but you really have to wonder whether or not the person is trolling. My response to this is a segway into trying to under...

Most of her videos are about pop culture. When she does veer into politics it's usually to go against the woke narrative. So I was interested to see how she covered this one.
Apparently it all started because she said in a comment that she saw a lot of racism against Asians when growing up. Response to the comment was 99% positive, but then one "short bus kid" (her words) provoked her into a frenzy with the four magic words: "stop making shit up."
She shows footage from
an Al Jazeera video of Asians being attacked in public... with nary a mention of the race of almost all the attackers (despite being 13%, etc).
Then in the middle of screaming that
Asian discrimination has been going on for years and it needs to stop, she exlains (3:10) that "people born in Asian countries are a lot more timid, they don't fight back, they don't stand up as much as other ethnic groups would."
B... based?
Over the next 15 minutes, she tries to explain (there are diagrams) about how most groups of animals are tribalistic, because... (and this is where the mask comes off):
"It's for the same reason men don't want to take care of a child that's not theirs"
In other words, racism exists because of men's primal fear that other groups will
out-breed them.
(12:02) "We all wanna be immortal, but [having children] is the way that we do it. Most people have that drive, but people like me and my partner... we don't really have that drive so much. We want to leave other things behind, like our works and how we impact the world for the better."
So you see, unlike those savages still caring for their crothfruit, me and my partner are NoT hAvInG KidS, which means that I am above such urges. I thusly look upon on the breeders with pity – for unlike them, I am content with simply leaving behind a better world when I die.
She also slips in a mention of how the world is overpopulated. And lots of people are having kids who shouldn't be. (Weird flex to bring this up in a video about Asian discrimination, but okay.)
There are some more tortured analogies amid a few actually based points about how racism has existed in all human cultures, including between different Asian groups. Then she pulls out an anecdote (19:50) about a Chinese science teacher who was "adorable", who got made fun of a lot, was never rude, and she was his favourite student. And one day he hulked out with rage because she asked him if he was buying his kids the new Japtendo console.
"All I said was Nintendo, why are you so triggered?"
Then at the end of the video (22:59), she completely swallows the red pill and blurts out.... this:
"Chinese people are the last people you should be picking on because there is like... a lot of them. And the thing is with Chinese people, they don't say shit, they're very fucking quiet. That's the kind of people you have to worry about because if you mistreat them..."
"I have seen situations - cause I'm white, I don't know what the fuck is going on - but somebody will say something and then a group of frickin' 30 Asian kids will just come around the corner, get their friends and their family - and they have big families - and come for that person."
"For American people, it's sometimes a good idea to assess the long-term effect of your short-term outbursts. Just cause, y'know, some people never consider that America
may not (*ahem*) always be the superpower. I hope in my lifetime it stays this way, but you gotta wonder - do you really wanna be that person that that crazy person lumps in with all the other people when it's time for them to do their culling?"
...And then she circles back around with a point that some people who claim to be allies to other people are low-key keeping them in chains. And a lot of them are talking about racism, but no one wants to discuss the root cause.
