Fat Acceptance Movement / Fat Girlcows

Wait a minute, wait. "The currency of thinness buys you happiness, acceptance, and influence"? Where? When? Did I miss a form I had to return or something?

Some of them (even doctors, yikes) really seem to think being thin = no problems. Being fat ≠ being unhealthy, can't judge that. But if you're thin, well. You have nothing to complain about, ever.
You can get a new form for ShitLords and Skinny Bitches from the Reich's White Supremacy office if you lost the original. (Sorry for the shitpost....)

Marrisa is an age where she grew up with the internet. Yet she has apparently never heard the term "don't feed the trolls."
Fat activists feed the trolls as much as they feed themselves (it's a lot, because fat.) They see it as "clappling back" at "fatphobia." At the end of the day, the only thing they are doing, is making it easier for Chinese's kids to laugh at them on tiktok. :story:

I found a FA doctor from the UK. She posted about Ragen, how she is an aThLeTe no matter what the trolls say. Surprisingly she's a deathfat and not a skinny bitch trying to mine money by telling fatties Yas Qween.
And yes, she looks like a troon but apparently has had kids. Yikes.

"The currency of thinness buys you happiness..."

No, no it does not. Ask anyone who has lost weight and they will tell you that it won't instantly make you happy. It might help a little but feelings of depression or low self esteem aren't going to go away because your waist is smaller.

I heard something very morbid that I couldn't shake out of my head a few yeas ago. This fat woman was talking about how when she died she wanted her body to be treated with ''respect'' as she knew that very obese people's bodies apparently were not treated well after the died. Many other fat people ''agreed''. I found this very disturbing. It was like they were RESIGNING to death. The fact that they're even talking about this shows they've accepted obesity is going to kill them and the fat acceptance stuff is just a veneer to cope.
Tess Holliday has shared similar thoughts about early death, and she has two kids. 😑

Got curious when I saw a vid about fat people and funerals. They are gonan end up costing their loved ones a ton of money.

Standard coffins : 27" across used to be 24". Can't even shove most of these people sideways in that.
To get an infinifat coffin it has to be custom made and theres only a few companies that do it.
One is "Goliath Caskets" which probly won't fit infinifats:
Large Coffins

It's like an airplane to get a plot:
"Some cemeteries will require that two co-joined single plots may be required to accommodate an oversize casket."
"Where a person has pre-purchased a cemetery plot but cannot then fit into it, this can cause all sorts of complications, and often result in the family having to purchase a new plot and try and re-sell the existing plot."

Hearses won't fit the coffin....

"In the case of an oversize corpse, it is likely that either more staff or more equipment will be required, and of course, this will ordinarily incur additional costs. We are so conscious about health and safety in our ‘blame and claim’ culture, that I should imagine more stringent insurance policies and body-handling procedures will have to come into play as funeral homes have to handle the increasing number of overweight bodies."

Cremation:
"Most crematories are designed to handle a ‘standard’ size body. When dealing with overweight corpses many issues arise – firstly the door and chamber size may not accommodate, the extra fat in the body requires a higher temperature and a longer process to complete the cremation process, so more powerful burners are required and more energy and gas is consumed. All leading, of course, to an increased cost."

Also just gonna leave this here:
Obese Dead Woman's Body Fat Causes Crematorium Blaze

Was it an Ask a Mortician video? Even if not, here's one for everyone's viewing pleasure.

She goes over the same points and seems apologetic about the higher cost but like wtf yo fat ass is gonna require more labor and space and generally gonna be a pain in the ass. You should pay a premium for being a nuisance.

Yep! Quite enjoy her vids!

So many of them write themselves off too as a lost cause (hence the faux fat acceptance), even at a young age. I've heard of super obese people even picking out an XXL coffin because they know their days are numbered.

They don't have to end up like this. Gastric Bypass and a gradual health overhaul is why people like John Goodman are still alive. They can change.

That guy looks great. GG Goodman.

Louise Hung from the now-defunct xoJane hellsite recruited FA zealots Marianne Kirby and Lesley Kinzel for contributions to this video, lol.

Louise also included her friend Joy Nash, a woman who gained 70 pounds between her viral "A Fat Rant" Youtube video that helped fuel the online FA/HAES movement around 2007 and her starring role 10 years later on the grim radfem (and thankfully short-lived) show Dietland.

Mind you, at Joy's previous weight, no one would've given her a second thought in many parts of the US. She had a pretty face, groomed herself, and dressed decently and femininely. But since she lives in LA and works in the entertainment industry, she just decided to go whole hog to land some freakish fatty gigs, I guess.

meh give me rainbows but but averaging 5lbs a month is slow and steady and sustainable for a total overhaul lifestyle change. Her forced, painful looking smile and crazy eyes still skeeve me out however lol

We'll see how she does once her TDEE isn't over 3K. She's under 30 and has no job so she does do a decent amount of moving for a death fat which is helping her. But it won't help nearly as much if she can get down to a still morbidly obese 250.

April's at 9 months in her weight loss journey

I wouldn't call her progress "fast", but hey, at least she's losing weight, so good for her !
She has never even showed an actual weigh in. She has lost some weight, so yes, that's a good thing, but show the weigh in or shut up.

I was in the hospital a few times as a young child, and despite being the only one on the ward the nurses barely paid any attention to me unless I moved and accidentally dislodged one of the IVs/sensors/random tubes. They were generally quite brusque and irritable so I was too scared to ask them for help. Bear in mind- my mum wasn't allowed to be with me all the time so there were long stretches where I was alone with no one to sit with or talk to, stuck in the bed with a bunch of tubes and barely able to move.

Nurses are overworked and some of them are really trying the best that they can, but a lot of them are also fat dumb cunts who can't be bothered to do their jobs properly because they don't want to deal with paperwork. It's the same with nursing homes: for every good, hardworking carer there are 4 who don't give a shit and do the bare minimum, if they're not actively abusing the residents. The immigrant carers and nurses are usually the ones who seem to give more of a shit, especially west indians. There are plenty of stupid, selfish white girls who become carers because they couldn't get a better job and then neglect the people they're supposed to be looking after. Perhaps the NHS should change their strategy and start telling people to lose weight and be healthy now while they are young, so that they don't end up in a horrible state care home or hospital down the line. I think seeing the state of some care homes should be enough to convince anyone to rethink their life choices.

IMO medical staff and personnel should have to stick to health guidelines so that they're not lecturing patients on their weight while being grossly obese themselves. It just doesn't look good, plus they have less energy to be on their feet all day and are more prone to injury.

I'll try to limit my health care sperging but I always have to point out that Canadian healthcare is nowhere near as bad as Americans seem to think it is. The wait lists aren't as bad as they seem because we have a lot of preventative care here (think MRIs scheduled a year in advance to make sure your cancer has stayed in remission) and though it can be difficult to see a specialist, GPs can do a lot more here and it's strictly triage based. If you need care NOW you get it almost instantly. ER waiting times vary widely by how busy it is that day but are mostly a product of people going there for shit that is not anywhere close to an emergency. Honestly they were far longer for me when I lived stateside, but that's probably because they do tons of highly expensive tests/scans for what a Canadian would consider to be for no reason. Here you see a triage nurse right away and see a doctor within an hour or two unless it's something imminently dangerous in which case you're in with a surgeon/trauma team/whatever in minutes. However, quality of health care drastically varies depending on where in Canada you live, sometimes local hospitals only have like two doctors and if they can't do what you need you just get stabilized enough to amberlamps you to the nearest city hospital that can.

Okay I lied about limiting my health care sperging.

To bring it back to the topic, there are certainly fatass nurses here, but most commonly the big ones are strongfat rather than blobfat and their size is an asset. Good nurses are running around all day in a way you can't if you're not in at least reasonable shape. There are a few who park their asses in the nurses' station eating doughnuts and ignoring patients claiming they can't do stuff because "muh back" just like there are a few who abuse their position of trust to swipe large quantities of narcotics, but the vast majority of nurses are really good. Canada has way less deathfats in general though, yes we have a lot of fat people but seeing anyone over 300 is really rare (probably a combination of preventative health care and fast food being expensive). It's still fat enough to have an appalling number of type 2 diabetics who suck up a shitload of medication and resources because they steadfastly refuse to alter their disgusting eating habits (and I don't mean people who only have it because they're old and just need a metformin or two a day). Prescriptions aren't free here but people without private coverage still get high drug costs subsidized by the government (most diabetic drugs and test strips are fuckin' pricey) so I'm still getting raped by taxes to pay for it.

Honestly the number of diabetes drugs for type 2s that have no generic equivalent is kind of ridiculous. Iirc it's seven years a company has to market their drug before generic pharma companies can make their version, and insurance typically covers the name brand until a generic comes out, so it's extremely profitable to churn out new diabetes drugs to profit off fat fucks who would rather pop a few pills than be slightly less fat fucks. That's not even getting into glucometer stuff, blood thinners, cholesterol drugs, heart drugs, blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, and painkillers most of these people require. Big pharma has got to absolutely fucking love fat people. It's never been easier or more comfortable to be a fucking glutton, shame is the last thing keeping their habits in check.

This American would love to have access to socialized medicine. Our health care system is a joke.
