Twitch really knows how to drive people away from their platform, but I doubt anyone who has a following on there will say this is anything but "the right thing to do".

To be fair, the only way I can stand Visual Novels is by watching someone interesting and/or entertaining "play" them, since by myself I find them to be just badly written books in dire need of an editor. Joseph Anderson's playthrough of Xenoblade Chronicles II was also a masterpiece. The man didn't yet know just how large and lucrative the "weeb" customer pool is, and was freely mocking everything wrong with anime and JRPGs (which is almost everything).

It safe to say that there's no low that corporations won't sink to in order to invade lives, ruin lives and get not just some extra cash, but all of the money.

Fucking hell. I want to say there should be a point where people wake the hell up and say "enough is enough", but this is apparently the world we are being forced to live in and you can go fuck yourself if you don't conform to every single thing we want to force upon you. And nobody seems to care.

I know we use this site to poke fun at stupidity, but there's times where the veil of comedy is lifted and all of the horror just starts pouring out en masse. It's fucking frightening to think that this is one of the very few communities remaining on the internet where everyone's thoughts and speech aren't being policed under the umbrella of "social justice" or some other vapid excuse meant to violate people's natural rights. And that's not even getting into what's going on outside of the internet, where everyone is being forcefully driven into a corner to live and learn in certain ways or else lose everything, even if they threaten someone's personal health or the general state of humankind.

the system (technoindustrial society) wants to control every facet of your life, because it has to. if you have ANY free thought against it, for example not wanting to have your private life exposed to the public, the oversocialized masses and hounds attack you.
all of these companies are exactly the same in their way of thinking. take it from someone who has had a lot of experience in the business world, EVERY top dog manager wants to control YOUR life. not just a collective "people", but YOU. they want control over the individual.
I don't want to preach too much at risk of sounding like a sperg, but it's going to get FAR worse than it is right now. you will see this happen to the majority of big tech companies and soon, you as an individual will no longer be anonymous.
If you care about freedom at all you will start taking notes. remember, it's technology and oversocialized leftists that caused this.

At one point I have to ask why. Why is it worth the effort to invade my life? I'm still not going to buy your shit. The most your going to get from me is my XXXmilf.com links and a few pirated 80's flicks.

They need to take control over more and more individuals in order to survive. If you don't need them, then they must create problems in your life until you do need them. To do otherwise would be to starve.

I don't really buy that e-thots are ruining Twitch. They've been issue since at least 2018 and have yet to turn the platform into a discount Only Fans. People keep calling for them to be moved to a different category when it's already safe to assume the featured streams in Just Chatting will be 100% dedicated to them already. If you're there to watch gaming and only gaming, you will never see them. If you're seeing them on the front page of Twitch, you searched for them before/got linked to them before, and Twitch is just doing its job of showing you related content.
