Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

"No amendment to the constitution is absolute," Biden declared, pointing to the famous Supreme Court ruling that you can't yell fire in a crowded theater as part of the First Amendment's free speech clause.

"From the very beginning you couldn't own any weapon you wanted to own, and from the very beginning of the Second Amendment existed certain people weren't allowed to have weapons. So the idea is just bizarre to suggest that some of the things we're recommending are contrary to the Constitution" he said. "Gun violence in this country is an epidemic and it's an international embarrassment. For God's sake, it has to stop."

Joe doing his best to bring about Civil War 2.0

The way to discuss gun control is to ask the person you are speaking to what number of gun murders they are willing to accept.

I don't know if it's my love for puzzle pieces or because America has adopted emotions as valid reasoning but that is the ultimate question.

If they oppose ANY amount of gun murders they you know that you have a person that hates the 2A and is a gun grabber.

Media Statement from CDC Director Rochelle P. Walensky, MD, MPH, on Racism and Health

https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2021/s0408-racism-health.html (https://archive.ph/LWNhj)

Today, Rochelle P. Walensky MD, MPH, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and administrator of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), declared racism a serious public health threat. Adding action to words, she highlighted several new efforts CDC is leading to accelerate its work to address racism as a fundamental driver of racial and ethnic health inequities in the United States. She also unveiled a new website “Racism and Health” that will serve as a hub for the agency’s efforts and a catalyst for greater education and dialogue around these critical issues.

Statement from Rochelle P. Walensky, MD, MPH, Director, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the death of over 500,000 Americans. Tens of millions have been infected. And across this country people are suffering. Importantly, these painful experiences and the impact of COVID-19 are felt, most severely, in communities of color—communities that have experienced disproportionate case counts and deaths, and where the social impact of the pandemic has been most extreme.

Yet, the disparities seen over the past year were not a result of COVID-19. Instead, the pandemic illuminated inequities that have existed for generations and revealed for all of America a known, but often unaddressed, epidemic impacting public health: racism.

What we know is this: racism is a serious public health threat that directly affects the well-being of millions of Americans. As a result, it affects the health of our entire nation. Racism is not just the discrimination against one group based on the color of their skin or their race or ethnicity, but the structural barriers that impact racial and ethnic groups differently to influence where a person lives, where they work, where their children play, and where they worship and gather in community. These social determinants of health have life-long negative effects on the mental and physical health of individuals in communities of color.

Over generations, these structural inequities have resulted in stark racial and ethnic health disparities that are severe, far-reaching and unacceptable.

As the nation’s leading public health agency, CDC has a critical role to play to address the impact of racism on public health.

  • We will continue to study the impact of social determinants on health outcomes, expand the body of evidence on how racism affects health, and propose and implement solutions to address this.
  • With COVID-19 funding, we are making new and expanded investments in racial and ethnic minority communities and other disproportionately affected communities around the country, establishing a durable infrastructure that will provide the foundation and resources to address disparities related to COVID-19 and other health conditions.
  • We are expanding our internal agency efforts to foster greater diversity and create an inclusive and affirming environment for all.
  • We are launching our new web portal “Racism and Health” as part of our ongoing commitment to serve as a catalyst for public and scientific discourse around racism and health, and to be accountable for our progress.
Confronting the impact of racism will not be easy. I know that we can meet this challenge. I know that we can create an America where all people have the opportunity to live a healthy life when we each take responsibility and work together. I am committed to this work. I certainly hope you will lean in and join me.

Notice how they are using infrastructure to mean something totally different than the image it conjures to most people. They're talking about giving money to Darquavious so he can open the Durag Depot and more money for dem programs. They're not talking about fixing our highways, underground utilities, electric grid, etc. After all, they think those things are dated white male nostalgia.

Ready for the struggle sessions? We've seen how controlling these assholes can be with the current "health crisis" that's been going on for over a year now. Imagine what they'll impose under the banner of "equity." Here's an excerpt from the paper on institutionalized racism that's linked on the above website:
• Use and dissemination of the “Levels of Racism: A Gardener’s Tale” allegory (delivered personally, published as a children’s book, turned into a popular song), as well as other allegories on “race” and racism that have been developed by Camara Jones (unpublished manuscripts).

• Training of a cadre of interested persons to hold conversations on “race” and racism for teachers, for police officers, at community meetings, in schools and workplaces, and in other settings. Would also enlist current antiracism trainers and professional storytellers in this effort.

• Development of a billboard campaign with slogans to start people thinking and talking about racism and its detrimental impacts on the health and well-being of the city.
Just what I want my taxes to pay for. Cult like techniques that involve propaganda in the form of children's books and songs, billboards, and some "antiracist" fat black bitch yelling at me for being born white.

After the last year straight of all this bullshit, I don't think they realize the level of negro fatigue that the typical American feels at this point. No wonder they're trying to curtail gun rights and say that amendments aren't absolute. Just speaking against this out loud is probably enough to get someone flagged as a "white supremacist" and as they've proven, they can hit you with red flag laws and take your weapons when you have broken no laws.

I know your brain has more holes in it than a sponge but the Second Amendment was literally designed to enshrine gun ownership.
The 2nd amendment is utterly irrelevant, and I don't say that to be all doom & gloom but because of Madison's and Hamilton's initial thoughts about amendments. They thought some of them would be pointless because it was understood the federal government simply didn't have the power to say go after the press, establish a church (at the expense of the taxpayer), or arbitrarily confiscate people's firearms.

The only justification you can actually argue for the government's ability to confiscate your firearms is for the following conditions :
A) you are suspected of a crime and thus may be disarmed and have your gun temporarily taken away from you (especially if it's needed for evidence) or
B) you flat out did commit a crime (treason, murder, whatever) and you will be disarmed either permanently or until your sentence is up depending on the exact situation.

boy howdy i cant fuckin wait for lockdowns to stop the racism plague

In almost all major school shooting cases, the FBI was warned. They knew about Lanza and Cruz but did nothing about them until they carried out their shootings and then crocodile tears flowed. It's going to be the same thing with red flag laws, they will do nothing unless it's a political enemy. For example, Patrick Tomlinson is a prime candidate for a red flag law because he talks about his anger issues, brandishes his guns on twitter, and talks extensively about seriously injuring people to the point where twitter banned him twice. He's also a democrat shill so he's gonna be safe from his guns being taken away. His counterpart on the right would lose all of his weapons and possibly face charges.
They're more worried about maga grandmas and those niggas wonder why mass shootings keep popping up

Now I want a YouTube video of George Washington with an AR-15 and wearing a plate carrier over his Continental uniform calling people cucks for not owning one as Alexander Hamilton fires off a machinegun in the background as he yells at Jefferson about how this is the benefit of industrialization. Franklin, of course, is hitting on at least two range bunnies.
It is a mystery to me how people try to rationalize the wording of the 2nd amendment to try and claim that the founders only wanted a regulated military force.

They had literally just won a war against their own tyrannical government using guns that they owned. I’m thinking maybe they meant that private citizens should own guns.

Linguistic drift. Regulated means something different these days. Back then it really just meant drilled or practiced. Basically, knew their way around a weapon. I mean, none of the Founder's writings about the 2nd are shy about bringing up what it's about either. Washington especially.

What do I always say, Kiwis? What do I always say?

If they're denying it, they are doing it. Their coy little denials ("I'm pro-2A but...") are always lies and stalling.

We live in Clown World now. The definitions of words depend entirely on whatever is convenient for the Cathedral at the moment.
