Didn't a developer once call DSP out when someone showed them clips of DSP doing the usual "wow fuck these developers they have no idea what they're doing" and he got really meek and apologetic? More of them need to do that, because him acting like an authority over what good game design is when he hasn't created anything in his entire life annoys me almost as much as him calling things "beginners traps".

I wouldn't say that entirely true. There are users on here and Twitter who seem to think OiC farting or not farting are both postworthy events in the DSPverse. Not making a judgement here or a "you're giving him what he wants!!!" argument, and Phil is so boring that this board leaps off-topic on a semi-regular basis, just an observation that there is an audience who very much cares what OiC does and closely follows his appearances and actions.
