This is the chef's kiss moment though. Dream probably could've been more entertaining had he not sold his soul to the Twitter mob, as smug and thin-skinned as he is. He'd be infinitely less rich and popular, but he'd have been more entertaining.

Don't know if anyone would find any interest in this, as it's just some more fanbase insanity/petty drama, but it seems to be gaining a bit of traction. Seems like public opinion on Twitter is starting to shift with all these little things, and not in favor of Dream and his gang (If that even means anything coming from a bunch of teenage girls). But, apparently, this animatic (archive) has been making the rounds with a UTAUloid using samples from TommyInnit's voice, which apparently goes against the UTAU rules, not to mention Tommy's about 16 years old.

Like I said, this is nothing but some petty drama, but nonetheless interesting and indicative of rising tensions between DSMP fanbase and "antis." This also kind of serves as a bit of a glimpse into the hivemind of these rabid fans, only further proving how they are simply unable to differentiate these content creators as real, living beings. I can't imagine being 16 and having people literally make UTAUs of me and my friends, I think I'd shoot myself.

Yeah, even yesterday apparently a bunch of 'antis' were mass reporting any accounts that seemed to be geared towards mcyters. Many accounts in mcyttwt went private because of it.
It's truly a shame because the mcyttwt community in 2019 wasn't nearly as bad as it is now, there was occasionally standard fandom drama but even then at least RPS (real person shipping) was shunned and the creators who were popular regularly kept everyone in line. Fandoms get too big and become cesspools, doesn't help that most people in mcyttwt came from kpoptwt or anitwt (and that Dream's stan policy sets an example for other mcyters now). It wouldn't be this bad if stans were kept in line and scolded every now and again for acting like turbo-autists online.
