I wish a few of you guys put the gifs behind spoilers too. Even if some of them wasn't bloody or anything, I didn't want to suddenly see a guy getting crushed by a vending machine, a still-alive guy that was cut in a half with his intestines around in a railroad, or a kid being decapitated. I know I'm in a thread about showing the fragility of life, but I can guess a few people have a tolerance of what they want to see- theres a difference between a video (and a description of whats in it), and an already-playing gif with no context.

Well shucks, I came here to watch some videos and be more aware of my surroundings, but I just can't handle children dying so I skip the ones that have children. It's just the gifs keep taking me off-guard. In a way, it also captures how randomly sudden death can take you so I guess it fits the point of this thread.

Makes me think of this Russian guy who failed his shotgun suicide attempt. I know this is about people dying, but the guy is barely alive and I honestly don't know why they bothered to perform surgery on him. Seems purely sadistic.

The two videos are obviously very graphic.

Look on the bright side. When it comes to the older footage, anybody who lived a generally okay life and died in the 90s or 2000s is pretty lucky in a way. They experienced peak prosperity and missed out on pretty much all the bad stuff afterwards.

How's this even a thing. Did the crash perfectly quash shut all the major blood vessels in his lower body and left him with enough in circulation for that.

I refuse to believe this is real. The reaction of the guy is too perfect. Unless he isn't trying to give her advice and this is an extremely messed up "old Russian guy reacts" video.

Yep, staged. My Russian is rusty, but the guy definitely had rehearsed his speech before. Also, the shot part was in slo mo.

There was a video earlier of an Indian getting split in half by a train. Both cases the person is going to bleed out and die, but I would think they would still be conscious for a time since the heart would still pump blood to the brain. He'd die faster if his neck was decapitated since the blood wouldn't make it to the brain. Also, lower spine damage would just effect the lower part of the body. The upper part of the spine near the neck would be more lethal, but possibly more merciful.

Two Turkish soldiers were killed in #Afrin yesterday by two Afrin Liberation Forces (#Kurdish) ATGM strikes on their patrol near Gobele village. In the footage, the first strike appears to have missed the group by striking behind them, but it left one soldier wounded who remained in the road. Another soldier then rushes over likely to render first aid, however, both are then killed by a subsequent ATGM strike.

Also, check out the top of the frame at the end. Two random dogs walk up just in time to see homeboys get yeeted.
