"Current year" terms that piss you off

"Misogynoir".

At first, I thought it was a fancier/more pretentious way of saying misogyny, but then I found out it was actually misogyny specifically aimed at black women. Why do black women need a seperate term for misogyny for...?
Sheboons are a very egotistical species, who believe themselves to be the ultimate victim at any given time. The fact that they’re fat slags are barely tolerated by their own men makes them even worse
"Cannaseur"

For when just being a stoner isn't trendy enough anymore.
Stoners are a blight upon humanity. They can’t just smoke, they have to loudly center their life around it, exaggerate its benefits, and brag about a few “smart” people using it to make themselves feel better about the fact that they’re rotting their brains out with that foul-smelling trash.

There was a time where the term "cancel culture" is actually relevant especially when ProJared pretty much lost a significant portion of his audience due to the pedophile allegations which were later turned out to be false.

Nowadays the term for me is cringe because the term is now used by either screeching fans whenever their idol is being criticised ("Wow you criticise that furfag for fucking a dog????? Cancel culture cancel culture!!!!!!") or smug retards who use that term as a gotcha for whenever their opposing side cancels someone else ("Wow you dislike cancel culture but you 'cancel' someone you don't like??????")

I want to return to the days where we can communicate with simple English language with points rather than fucking retarded buzzwords with no points at all being brought up.
It's especially cringeworthy when politicians talk about "cancel culture" and not understand whatsoever especially with the Dr. Seuss nontroversy.

Some new current terms I hate are:

WOKE = It has become a buzzword by people to bitch about anything with the remote sense of progressive ideas and it is thrown everywhere without any thought as a "gotcha" term.

"X RIGHTS!" = I want trannies to shut the fuck up about this since it's constantly annoying how they act like a persecuted class when the entire upper echelons of society actively support you

"X is Y-Coded" = This also annoys me because they say someone is whatever (it being gay, trans, or black) when it makes no sense and it's judged based on stereotypes which honestly sounds way more bigoted.

"Comfort Character" = This is just more concerning than it pisses me off of someone getting so attached to fiction that they have one of these, like these sorts of people need therapy.

the new AOC definition of "working class".

Fuck all the highly skilled craftsmen who invested years of technical or vocational schooling combined with apprenticeships and journeyman years and all that. All it takes now to be called working class is to pick things up and put them down at an Amazon warehouse part time while collecting WIC and Section 8.

I hate people who say y'all when it isn't naturally a part of their dialect (e.g. northern white people trying to sound cool online — southerners and blacks get a pass). I also hate when people use sis, or say stuff like wig unironically.

Blacks and gays are worshipped to the point other people try to adopt their manner of speaking, and it just sounds so embarrassing. The same people doing this will cry cultural appropriation at a white person trying to learn Spanish though. The complete lack of self awareness.

The duck-face, leaning with your phone in front of you selfie.

Pouting your lips isn't "cute," it's degrading. You look like you have detox. Leaning with the camera doesn't do anything whatsoever. And chances are your phone is in the way. Moreover, when they "squat" in a suggestive manner. How shallow can you get?

The term "selfie" is starting to annoy me too.

When anyone says a song “slaps” I fucking cringe.

“This song slaps soooo hard” (some internet rando will post) above a link to a YouTube video or some shitty Spotify playlist. This can be seen in almost any comment section on any site hosting music

I picture them slapping like an Okie in a field w/ moonshine & banjos, or thinking they sound street or some shit.

I especially notice zoomers say this, like they think it’s “retro” maybe?

Fuck anyone who says a song “slaps.”

They also think "just vibing" is cool, funny, or original every time they say it. I fear what english will sound like in 20 years.
