The problem I have with vaccine passports is that they would create a system of medical apartheid. If you aren't a member of a certain group, which may be completely out of your control - some people might not have been vaccinated, some people might not be able to be vaccinated because they have an immumne disease - you can't do the same things everyone else can do. Besides, if the vaccine doesn't stop you
spreading covid, why mandate vaccine passports?
The way I see it, scepticism is a healthy reaction to anything. The response to scepticism, be it to do with religion, covid or climate change, is to disprove the sceptics' arguments and not to call the sceptics bigoted denialists who aren't worthy of a response.

Sexual assault allegations can ruin people's lives. Anything that could do that should be treated in exactly the same way as a criminal prosecution. This means that the defendant has the right to cross-examine witnesses for the prosecution. Anything else is nothing less than a kangaroo court.

• they would inevitably be used for political grandstanding and not in order to protect the environment, and the corporations who actually pollute would get let off scot-free because it's a lot easier to go after a failed businessman who everybody hates and who doesn't use catalyic converters than it is to prosecute Jeff Bezos.
