Prescribed chest reduction is exceedingly rare and all other surgeries like enlargement and facial are almost always considered to be cosmetic and thus elective, so it's not something "cis" people "just do". Jeebus, all these kids have absolutely no idea how the world works.View attachment 2072035

Other people get quickly prescribed medically necessary things, but we don't get prescribed those things even when we don't need them and want them because of mental illness? Outrageous!
I was about to say the same thing - that treating precocious puberty with blockers was a real last-ditch effort these days. They are very likely to create severe health issues down the road - not just limited to the stuff we're seeing in the US re: Lupron.I do not know when the original post was made, but I do note it is now against policy/best practices to treat precocious puberty with GnRH agonists.
There have been whispers of several (quite obviously unnamed) cases where the projected second "real" puberty never occurred, and the stopped puberty was the only one the child was going to have.
I also tangentially note that precocious puberty is almost never treated in boys, and a lot of boys just have to deal with being made fun of for pubic hair, NRBs and voice breaking.
Very much related. Rozie Suppozie has probably been featured here before but tl;dr is a Colin Montgomery-orbiter.

Yup, asking Rozie for references is "trolling." I wish Julia Mason had brought up, yet again, how many kids were irreparably harmed by this kind of treatment, because I am seeing it every day as a "gotcha" on troon Twitter, and it really isn't.
