Well, the “shut it down” clip has been posted. Time to see how many pages before the next slapfight that’s got nothing to do with this trial.
I'm not gonna lie I forgot who that tranny was for a second and I reminded myself this tranny is a retard who made PM's for their cope then got threadbanned for 8 hours.

It should be a law for this thread, whenever the trial ends for the day everyone should shut the fuck up immediately.
So should we get a janny to lock the thread on weeknights/weekends? I don't get what the big deal with people bullshitting when the trial's not on, it's not that hard to find where the trial talk starts and ends.
I know, but I'm just saying the "modern divide" started with Iraq.

The "culture wars" in the 1990s were simply a lot less serious, then Dubya gets us into a war, people are literally dying and suddenly the divide between left and right gets much more serious.

On top of that I think it planted a seed in the left's mind, though it took a long time to grow and many don't consciously realize it today, but I think the Iraq war was the first thing that really started them down the path of seeing America as an "evil empire" that needs to be dismantled entirely.
Bruh if you think this shit started with Iraq you need a history lesson. A long one.

I won't speak for everyone, but there is still plenty of new information that can come or analysis that can be done when the court is not in session. But any chances of seeing it are completely killed by spergs using this thread as a cumsock for their basic bitch youtuber-tier circlejerk about niggers and leftoids.

Of course it didn't, I flat out say the "modern divide" ie the modern incarnation of this divide, which of course goes way back, but I think for a generation they were drawn into leftist thinking by outrage over the Iraq war.

the actions of the cops started the dominoes going
Not to go all the way back to Genesis but wasn't the cops' being there also caused by some event? Anyway the more I've seen of this the luckier I think it is that they did end up coming to arrest him, even before taking those other drugs and an unknown quantity of banana he was in no condition to be driving around
That "survived and made it to the hospital" was such a good cliffhanger for the weekend, I'm really going to miss this TV show when it's over

I detailed my thoughts on that in another thread, but put bluntly I'm pretty sure that was a small part of a larger societal shift in general.

Basically. The defence argument seems to be that Floyd was a walking timebomb of heart disease, covid and drug addiction, so the fact he died during arrest (or in the hospital hours after the fact, thanks based ME) is irrelevant and would have happened without the Knee of Longinus. But to those reeing about the situation the only fact is he died in custardy, ergo, cops are murderers.

if someone dies at a house party from OD or whatever, it's not the party throwers fault just because "they wouldn't have died if they weren't at the party".

not even that. to these people, the one and only thing that really drives them is this single picture:

that's all they need, that's what drives their emotional response to the case, that's what fuels their outrage. all the boring details of the case don't matter, only this picture does.

Well, I think the real point is that Chauvin couldn't have known that Floyd was a ticking timebomb by looking at him, he wasn't a medical expert or a clairvoyant, so it wasn't negligent for him to perform the arrest the way he did. He expected, and reasonably so, that Floyd would survive the treatment he gave him.

But of course the REAL point is that Floyd was a coal black Congo nigger.

That look on Chauvin's face speaks volumes about how unprepared he was for all of this.

Given that there's a fair amount of off-topic posting even when it is in session I don't see the point of bitching about it. Just get the bulletpoints when the court's in session since it'll reliably get reposted more than once.

And I'd argue that political talk revolving around how the U.S. got to the point socially that this case even went to trial is much more on-topic than sneed shitposts, or memes. I don't bitch about those, though. And neither do you or anyone else so far from what I've seen.

I was wondering about what happens to him if he gets acquitted on all charges. He can't go back to the police, most normies already deem him guilty so he'll struggle to get a normal job, and he'll be ostracised from the community (other than his friends/family). Gonna be a rough few years. I wonder if he has any civil action he can take.

My assumption is that, if found innocent, he would be in line for huge compensation from the news corporations and activist groups that openly said he was a racist murderer.

But that's a big if, brother.
