Devil's in the details. A death from an overdose means the drug is 100% responsible.
But what we have here is a walking pharmacy with cardiac hypertrophy and significant systemic coronary occlusion, who has taken a powerful respiratory depressant and a powerful cardiac stimulant at the same time. These drugs may not have outright killed Floyd but they certainly would have had a massive influence on Floyd's death.
The methamphetamine in particular would have made him far more susceptible to 'excited delirium' which was a massive contributing factor to his death.
The question must be asked- if Floyd had been healthy- not been on a cocktail of powerful street drugs, and without a diseased, laboring heart- would he have died as a result of Chauvin's actions? At the very least the answer would have to be 'probably not', which is- you guessed it-reasonable doubt.
The DUI study is obfuscating bullshit.
Yes, this is pretty much my point. Fent was merely one of many factors dictated by Floyd's garbage life choices. And, once again, it was not Chauvin's responsibility to know about any of that shit. It's just that the statement that fent was explicitly the main cause of his death is stupid and some people here have this weird propensity to emotionally cling to it as if proving it wrong will magically put Chauvin behind bars. If you want to latch onto Floyd's health issues, then his clogged shitpipe arteries are a much better option.

We're literally paying for this. Our system literally pays black women to pump out retarded criminals every nine months and the fathers to fuck off. It also isn't every black man who is a worthless "baby daddy," but it is generally a few of these assholes spawning endless progeny. It's like a breeding program to guarantee the worst are the ones who reproduce. This isn't unique to black people. We're literally creating Idiocracy with every race.
I think the worst realization I had about this came from when I was walking dogs for cash during highschool and I got a house next to "that street". You all know that street.

It's the college dorm style apartment block with each family in a unit, neck and neck, and it just goes on for like a mile. And the sidewalk is littered with broken bottles, and the road beside is covered in diapers. And everything else is covered in haphazard clotheslines.

Newsflash, you pay for that. Every broken single serve flask of whiskey. Every chicken bone, shit filled diaper and feral cat. Every screeching kid or teenager driving by on a fucking hoverboard(nowadays). Every plain brick wall. Shitty dorm. Shitty house. Shitty everything. You pay for. You purchased. Every day I walked dogs to build a computer, some of that money went to shitty house#217, so shitty tenant #31239 could buy some single serve malt liquor, down it on the way home, and chuck it out the window for some poor kid to split their foot on. So they can ignore the fact they live in said shitty hell.

And the worst part is. When the gated communities finally get a toehold, and the city finally realizes this place is worth some money, and said shitty homes become Whole Foods and Shitty Hipster Bars, and whatever, some leftists begin screeching that that land, that you payed for all along, was somehow stolen from the people who squatted on it.

but remember kids, if we just threw MORE MONEY at these people, ALL AT ONCE, this would totally fix everything.

And this is the real black pill. Every time you spend an hour working? And you pay taxes on that income? You're literally paying as much as 30% of what you earn to make Clown World. Congratulations!

So how are you guys coping withthe fact that he did not in fact overdose on fentanyl like everyone here was claiming?
I've contacted my alma matter, and am asking for a refund on my degree.

Most people don't understand how drugs work either. Not like, what they do, or how they feel, but the actual specifics. And by most people that includes various professionals. That includes myself as well. Duh. It's all microscopic. It's all a pain in the ass. And it's all paywalled, of course,

For example, current theories in opioid receptors focus on receptor specific behaviors. Mu, Kappa, as well as subtupes. Mu-1 feels good and causes addiction. Alpha causes the depressive breathing. It's also not called alpha anymore. Or maybe that was just in my textbooks. Percocets seem to target mu stronger, giving more good shit without blacking you out.

Regardless, no one's really sure if Opioid receptor specific tolerance is a thing. Mechanically it makes sense, but a lot happens downstream that complicates things.

In basic terms, Floyd could have acquired a tolerance to Mu receptor from Percocet use, but not the others. Could., In theory. Probably something you could get a PHD for publishing on.

In real basic terms, anyone saying there is no reasonable doubt is completely insane. 11 ng of Fentanyl is typical levels for anesthesia. Like, out cold. Lights out. 11 ng, per their study, is where people experience enough of an effect to be unable to drive a car. Floyd was a big ass dude, but he's human, and no reaction is universal.

Not to mention the free morphine in his tox screen, which was also through the roof.
As I understand it, one of the great problems with fent is that even hardened opiate users can suddenly and lethally overdose at lower levels than expected.

I'm actually of the opinion that the meth was at greater fault. It's a powerful sympathetic nervous stimulant which spurs an increase in cardiac activity and the secretion of cortisol, epinephrine and norepinephrine in response to acute stress. This 'hormonal cascade' places significant stress on the heart and lungs as part of the 'fight or flight' response.
And given Floyd's heart condition, acute stress-related V-fib and abnormal sinus rhythm (which can be dangerous for healthy people) would almost certainly be a death sentence.

He started out crying wolf with "I'm claustrophobic, I can't breathe" and by the time he was actually in serious trouble from the extra pills he'd necked revving up his heart, the cops were in no position to diagnose or treat.

Except this shit goes entirely differently where people have rights and are not afraid to exercise them.
This is what I mean by "whites start to defend themselves." Eventually one of these "peaceful protesters" are going to get uppity while in one of these neighborhoods and start causing shit because they don't think they will actually shoot. Then the protester of peace actually gets shot and the media will spin to push the "ALL WHITE PEOPLE ARE WHITE SUPREMACIST AND WE NEED TO TAKE THEIR GUNS AWAY" narrative.

Caught up on the thread. Given that the prosecution seems to be either criminally incompetent or deliberately spiking the case (insert reasons why here) I’m feeling mighty good with my longshot vote on 1992 literally happening again.
Time to find my oversized flannel shirts and ratty Levi’s 501s.

Yeah, I went out and bought more ammo. What I could find, anyway. Bare shelves everywhere, and it's not just people cleaning them out - they're not getting a lot of ammo in. 9mm? Forget about it. Any pistol caliber, really.

Way to stand up for your man, cunt. A box of donuts says she's already working on profiting from it somehow.

At a time when blacks are already singling out Asians and trying to kill them, you think she's a bitch for trying to save her own life? If she was my wife I'd tell her to publicly trash me and then go hide in a bunker the rest of the year
