Unpopular opinions about food

The usual 'western' varieties common to any popular supermarket here. I've tried enoki mushrooms and some other Asian varieties - still not for me. I can't get over the rubbery texture. Plus enoki mushrooms remind me of parasites.
How are you cooking them? Sautéed with butter, olive oil, wine and some seasoning of choice is pretty great. They are good in sandwiches, especially in a steak/mushroom/cheese sammich.

I follow a boring ass bodybuilding diet most of the year, so mushrooms only make an appearance when I make pies or a few pasta dishes, in which case they're just baked or stirred in with minimal seasoning.

As i write above, it's not so much the taste (or lack of,) but the texture for me. Texture is half of the enjoyment of food, so that might be the death sentence for fungi.

Yeah, I'm not sure if you can even get mushrooms crispy if you saute them. You could get stronger flavored mushrooms, but I think they will still be rubbery. Even when I use re-hydrated dried mushrooms and brown them first for borsch, they're still rubbery. I don't know if slicing them thin and frying them could make them crispy or not.

I cannot eat leftovers past 2 days. Day 3 I am like "Please stop I am getting new food I cannot fucking do this".
Also most beef stew in a can taste like dog food there is no debate, and hummus can do a flip off this moral coil. Fuckin dirt spread.

Five Guys is a bit pricy, but they’re damn good if you want a treat once in awhile. Fries are amazing as well

In-n-Out is overrated garbage that doesn’t taste much better than what you’d get at McDonald’s and is shilled constantly by hipster faggots and idiots who’ve memed the hell out of it. It’s the Rick and Morty of burger joints
An In-N-Out burger is the best value you can get. Their fries are trash though.

I'm not too big of a fan of soup.

It's food or drink, not both.
As I've gotten older I found I enjoyed soup more than I did as a kid. Maybe it's because my parents are from the South and I was never a fan of Southern cuisine. Campbell's Well Yes! soup brands and Progresso hearty soups are the better tasting and less expensive soups you can try.

I'll be the one to say it. I'm picky when it comes to pasta. When prepared and eaten quickly pasta is delicious. But I dislike how quickly pasta dries out and the texture is ruined!

For me, it's the water. Water in food is a waste of time and is equivalent to removal of flavor. I do make a lot of stews but they are heavily reduced and concentrated, practically a sauce. Even then I'm starting with something that has already has flavor (stock, ale, wine, leftover braising liquid) and reducing it.

The only way to enjoy monster energy is practically frozen and out of the mega can. It just doesn't taste the same out of the regular 16 oz can.

People who claim to like drinking unsweetened coffee or tea are probably just showing off. I don't understand how anyone can like drinking bitter water which, aside from giving you a caffeine rush, doesn't really provide much nutritional value.
Kids happily drink unsweetened tea (though herbal, not "regular" one), until someone starts giving them a sweetened one.
