Yeah, Titan cancer isn't a thing and they have all normal lifespans now

I like horror and once the horror aspect was removed I kind of lost interest completely. I kept following to see where it was going and I was NOT disappointed
Don't forget the time-travel element added. As if the story already didn't have enough things to go with, sheesh.

Always a shame when a series you become invested in because it was such an interesting concept just gradually turn more and more into shit until it becomes something else entirely. That's always the worst feeling, watching something you like and want to succeed, die horrifically by the series' own creator.

I can't believe I've been missing out on this train wreck of a series. I had heard a few things in passing, and it usually concerned the batshit fans (lol shippers) and the author being a dipshit. But I never knew the writer's twists and turns were this lulzy. The amount of ass pain caused by this finale is a thing of beauty. Kudos to the OP for keeping this shit show updated.

I eagerly await the revival of the series when Eren rallies the birds to go full on Elliot Rogers and renews the cycle of war and death.

Mikasa can't fuck other men if you set the birds on them. Tatacaw. Tatacaw.

Honestly, he should just stick to AoT high school or whatever because it seems like he genuinely enjoys writing it more and not whatever AoT is. It also fits his style more because he could just write whatever he feels because that sort of style lends itself to that writing, instead of drama or horror or a serial.

I was one of those people that were mocked online for saying that the AoT parody of them as junior high school students was more enjoyable than the later seasons of the “serious” AoT anime.

Now, I think I might just be vindicated when it’s all said and done.

The thing with Berserk is that he's taken so many breaks and had such poor health its going to be really hard for him to finish it as he's envisioned. I kind of feel bad in that respect as its really not his fault, he's just had shitty luck. Its going to be hard to find a satisfying ending after all of this time so I think everyone is expecting either A) Beserek to never end or B) An unsatisfying conclusion. If he can pull off a mediocre one, I think that'd be enough to call it a success.

Well, at Lelouch 'dies' and then goes on to a simple life as a farmer, except he doesn't get cucked by one.
Is Berserk like, anywhere close to done? Are we talking about “just need to grind out another 10 chapters” or “the final conflict hasn’t even revealed itself yet”?

I’m in the same boat of refusing to touch Berserk no matter how good people say it is because I have no faith that it’ll ever end.

With respect to Hange, apparently in the manga her gender is ambiguous but in the anime she is obviously, undebatably female.

Just noticed I might have missed some drama about the character Hange Zoë. All japanese sources refer to her as a woman, but almost all english sources refer to her as "they".
Has the character ever brought up some turbospergs?
I found this:

MAL lists her as female, but description uses "they". This is just some tumblrinas in the English publishing house in action?

Remember. There is no such thing as a woman acting masculine. That's impossible. Any woman displaying traditionally masculine personality traits is some type of intersex, genderfluid, neurodivergent, schizo head.

The reason why I took notice of this is because this isn't the first time where terminally online westerners have pushed this bullshit. I've seen several cases where japanese authors have men or women break gender norms and the foreign retards start punishing anyone who dares to use traditional pronouns.
It has especially been getting infuriating these days where just using Sir instead of Ma'am has the tumblr refugees in twitter think a obvious woman is trans.

I still can't get over how Armin managed to survive getting quite literally burnt to a crisp and then a 50 meter drop immediately afterwards. People say Reiner's got plot armor, but at least my mans had Titan powers to keep him alive. Armin survived all that shit as a scrawny ass regular human.
Armin's plot armor makes sense since he used the power of talk no jutsu to talk to the plot to at least keep him alive.

Seems like we are heading into the final arc in Berserk. Mainly due to Skull Knights identity being revealed and Casca's memory being returned.

And all the other crazy shit now happening in the world with Griffiths "utopia" being established. Which always seemed to be his ambition/endgame.

But as for how many chapters that is gonna be or if it is the final arc coming up is anyone's guess.

Berserk has always been a much more character driven story anyway than plot driven one. At least for me.

My joy in reading Berserk has always been watching Guts grow into the character/hero we see him as now.

Def worth reading even without an ending just for that. He is the best developed protagonist in manga history for me.

I just like all the Isayama memes where Armin is his favorite character and he gets angry that no one likes him so he progressively ruins the story to force people to like him more.

Maybe in like another five or six years it'll be done? I mean holy fucking shit, the manga has been going on since '89 and is older than most people on Twitter and is still active. It is truly an Epic to behold, and a major accomplishment if it does ever get finished, no matter how it ends. But yeah, it feels like the final arc, but again, its just ramping up and 'arcs' in Beserek can span like 10 volumes.

I hadn't been reading SnK for too long, maybe a couple years, and I felt horribly betrayed; can't imagine what it felt like for autists who'd been reading since day 1.

I'd suggest not reading Berserk until it's done, it's pure suffering.

Hange is indeed supposed to be female, and always has been. The issue only arose because Isayama's art was so shit, and because no one had referred to them as her/ she at that point in the series that a lot people couldn't tell. Isayama was asked to clarify it at one point, but being the troll he is, he declined and said it was up for the readers to decide.

This comment, unfortunately, just led to spergs saying Hange was nonbinary and/or trans, even though that was never the case, and was eventually disproven when someone in the manga used female pronouns for her. The English sources who still refer to Hange as "they" are just using incorrect/outdated information.

lol, when you don't care enough to specify if your character is female or not.

God his art is so ugly. And then you look at Beserek, especially the beginning, and its glorious and that's in 89 and older. He really just does not care

rumbling ending would be better than the half assed 80% ending
Yeah, but that would have made 90% of the cast losers because they were all peace simps.
Honestly, how did that happen? In hindsight that's probably the largest misstep, just suddenly all the people who've killed each other from the very start of the series are suddenly on the same side to protect the nations who just recently embraced a plan to exterminate them all.
