All I said was Candy’s situation is understandable on how she got to this point in her life. Is she still a trash mother for not improving her life for her kid? YES. But she’s not mentally well either.

Nick may not have had a rough upbringing, but I'm pretty sure he had reactive attachment disorder from being a Ukrainian orphanage baby. Whenever he gets real about when he was a kid, all signs kind of point to that, and he still obviously struggles with relationships and mood/impulse control to this day. He might be a heartless killer like the worst case scenario for RAD but the signs are there.

Nothing about the fact she married a white woman surprises me, honestly, she just seems to shit on her afrocentrism for some reason.
