With how this shit is going I think it's fair to say that this was never a one-off event to get trump in office, it was the first instance of the new normal.

Every month or so you'll get another dindu getting shot and blacks will riot and burn shit. I have to give the powers that be kudos, this is a pretty impressive way to implement a stimulus check. They get free shit and blow off some steam. Genius stuff.

They'll let them riot, it's too dangerous to try to shut them down... might piss off the commies. They'll just make it REALLY quiet.

No the solution is to stop having weak woman cops and manlet cops. There used to be height and physical requirements to be cops.
You don't need to fuck with tasers, mace, or guns if you can physically control the person.

The one off part was Democrats gleefully pouring gas on the fire in that attempt to get Orange Man out. While I think people hoping Biden's going to start hallucinating it's 1992 again and send in federal troops to crack skulls are going to be disappointed, I just don't think any upcoming riots are going to get the signal boosting they need to reach Summer of Love levels. Now I could be wrong and if Kamala appears on Twitter again to shill bail funds and gleefully order her minions to keep burning and looting I'll admit it. The next few nights are going to telegraph how the Dems will deal with these.

Cops are never going to be allowed to get as physical as they did in the 'good old days' again after Rodney King and now George Floyd, especially in the age of ubiquitous camera phones and social media. Even a completely justified beat down isn't going to look pretty.

Now that the democrats are in charge people need to understand that accidents happen and its important we get all the facts before rushing too judgement.

Taser hilarity aside, I find it interesting that over the last day, there have been posts here about three different incidents (Chicago, Minneapolis, and Virginia), one of which happened back in freakin' December.

Now I'm sure the amount of people in the entire country who get shot in an altercation with the cops is far more three per year, so why do we suddenly have three stories circulating the national news after months of nothing? One of which is a story that's happened four whole months ago?

I have the strangest sense of deja vu. 🤔

Oh no I completely agree with you when it comes to that. What I meant by the new normal is the actual rioting and looting ect, the media won't boost it to the same degree except in specific circumstances when they need it to pass something or vote someone in. That won't matter for the people suffering the actual crimes though, or the societal change this will incur.

My main point was how smoothly this transitioned from an event intended to get rid of Orange man into a way of giving benefits to the people who support them and punishing those who don't.

It's a hell of a machine and it's only going to get worse.
