Diseased Neo-Pagans / Witches on the Internet / Witchblr - SMT IRL, but with fatties

All these loons go gay eventually. Or in this case, """"""gay"""""".
"Queer" has become shorthand for "I'm straight but I once held hands with someone the same gender as me and want brownie points for it."
She just posted this so I guess you're right.

St Peter is catholic and she's ex-evangelical.
Doesn't change what the cross actually is, just emphasizes that she doesn't know anything. Besides, plenty of evangelicals know the upside down cross is associated with the extra-biblical story of Peter's death. It's something retards keep misappropriating for Satanism but the Satanic cross is very different and looks like it'd be some kind of phallic allusion but really is just the alchemical symbol for Sulphur. Get it? Sulphar? Brimstone?

Anyway, the reason the upside-down cross got associated with Satanism is because of Hollywood spook films. It's Peter's cross regardless and it's funny to mock people for getting it wrong, like mocking people who think the rainbow is a gay symbol but actually is supposed to represent God's promise not to flood the Earth again. Like Satanists using a sacred symbol thinking it's evil or rebellious, LGBT use a symbol of judgment on all mankind--global annihilation--as their cutesy pride symbol.

It's like if a Jew started wearing a swastika on their kippah but in reverse and said it meant "Live, Laugh, Love, Life". You just gotta chuckle.

Remove all the pagan larping and that actually seems pretty based.
Of course it's cool, because it's just a verbose way of saying "Family and Personhood". The sad fact that this is counterculture is just...
Good point, FuzzyBro. Lilith is not the thing someone would tell a pregnant woman to cry out to for help. Kinda funny though that they turn to literal demons rather than God. Speaking of the Goetia though...

Hey! It's this thing again! So I've been checking this thing out while our resident collectors of the weird, the fantastic NoReturn and Fuzzy (and others), carry us through the madness of witchery. I think Dante posted this PDF earlier when we had briefly looked into authors of these arcane scribblings for sale, and this one stuck out the most. I know about the Goetia from SMT and I wanna see what the deal is.
When do we summon Pixie?

0.1.png

When summoning your elder dark, be sure to add three teaspoons of lemon and just a pinch of sugar to counterbalance that bitter taste.
But really the "sounds of thunder and fierce gusts" bit is gonna make sense by the end of this.
0.2.png

TL;DR You basically want to trick the demon into thinking it's at home before popping out from behind your cloak and scaring it with "Surprise! Gimme wishes!" Mind you, the central idea here isn't too foreign. Lots of religious stuff do things like this. You're basically showing submission to the entity by making your place accustomed to it, like a temple filled with incense. What's "practical" about this? Well, considering most of the people buying this book sincerely to practice this inanity are neon-haired springy nutters with "kitty children", it's probably better that their place smells of sandalwood than BO and cat urine.
The bright red light might be a problem depending on where you live, though. You don't want random Johns knocking on your door waving a hundred to get a piece.
2.png

It just works. Trust me, I know EEAHOHEH sounds like a deaf person who got their dick caught in a pencil sharpener but trust me it works.
1.png

Didn't I say to trust me? Wikipedia is for sissies and normalfags! This is the book you want right here, even if it has stuff you could've found online for free!

The confidence isn't entirely misplaced, though, since the level of detail in this book is what makes it the most boring thing to read, even despite how the author uses terms like "Psalm" in place of "song". I guess he felt it made the thing more official to use biblical terms. Speaking of, the key chants you'll need to summon demons...involve invoking the names of angels?
4.png

Oh an angel of the Shemhamphorash, not to be confused with Flamhamshamalam or Shaogorath (who would've made for a more interesting summon). What the hell--or heaven--is a Shemhamalamer?
5.png

Oh, it's a word which describes a name of--what?
6.png

"Through interpretation" is such a great "I swear I'm not lying" line. Let me check the book cover a second...
111.png

...Yeah, it definitely says DEMONS of Magick. So, why the hell--or heaven(?)--and I reading about God's name? Or rather, a name "describing" God's name, and seventy two angels? Well...
7.png

So the short of it is that you, dear gullible retard summoner are to tread that murky line between light and dark, drawing on both the names of light and the power of darkness by invoking the titles of even God himself to conjure the elder dark. So cool! Just like Japanese RPGs! But not really since what this leads to is either demonic possession or, more likely, your room smelling and looking funny while you chant "psalms" with the kind of lingual artistry which makes cats screech.

By the way, if you're curious about what those verses actually are--in Hebrew, particularly--you can find it using BibleHub, downpage will have listed Hebrew words in the sentences and their meaning. Do note, however, that the entirety of the Hebrew scriptures only list two angels by name, Gabriel (which the Shin Megami Tensei developers, being Japanese, misread as Gabrielle, hence in SMT one of the archangels is a woman) and Michael. This means that the extrapolation of old Hebrew into angellic names, let alone 72 of them, is an unbelievable reach.
Whatever you read in English is exactly what it says in Hebrew. There's no real noteworthy difference in the translation, aside from YHVH being LORD because although we've come to assert "Yahweh" as being a proper pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton (YHVH) it's literally over four thousand years old and no one can prove what it was really audibly pronounced like.
Probably now EHEHWHAHAH though.

Anyway, I'll now end today's segment with an actual Key to your Bael conjuration. At least now we can finally get some SMT stuff started, right? Sure the perfume and the lighting and whatever names are silly but hey, it's magickqz! Now let's get to those thunderings and stormy gusts!
10.png

There we go. Oh what, you don't think these are the sounds of "thunder and fierce gusts"?
Literally the same thing. You can totally hear the OOMAYREEMRAW when clouds light up with lightning. Told you it'd make sense.

Oh yeah thanks for the reminder. I still need to give this book a shot. I had attempted the money making / money attracting book by the same group of people with no success, but have yet to try out one of the demons. Still have that open mind though!

@NoReturn duty calls.
  • TRAAAANS: Hermaphroditus was merged with his creepy stalker against his will. Caenis was raped and when Poseidon asked what she wanted in exchange for him raping her, she asked to be made into a man so no one could rape her again. (Great representation!) Leucippus was going to be killed for being born female, so she was "blessed" to grow a dick. Tiresias, in contrast, was cursed to be a woman because he smacked some snakes that were fucking. Siproites also got cursed with being a woman. See a pattern?
  • LGB: After Orpheus lost Eurydice he went full homo. This pissed off the local women being he was - by not fucking them - being disrespectful to Dionysus. So they tore him apart with their bare hands, leaving his disembodied head singing in a window forever (or they threw in it the river, depending on who you ask. It was still singing, though.) Iphis's story is a lovely tale of threatened-female-infanticide and she was turned into a man so she could marry her fiance because lesbians can't get married.
  • ASEXUAL: You could make the argument Artemis was asexual, but there's also a solid implication in many stories she only "got away with it" because she was a god. She's super not-cool about things either. Her attendant Callisto was raped after taking a vow of chastity, so Artemis turned her into a bear and tried to get her killed. She also sets Aura up to be raped because Aura said Artemis was too hot to be a virgin. Besides Artemis' capriciousness, there's also Aphrodite to contend with. That bitch couldn't stand asexuals or chaste people. She literally had Polyphonte get raped by a fucking bear because she ran away from home to avoid getting married off.
  • Minorities: Memnon was a black guy with a magic horse. Odysseus and his buddies killed him in the middle of the night and stole his horse. They're the good guys in this story. Then there's Cassiopea, whose great sin was calling herself and her daughter beautiful. This made Poseidon mad so he sent a monster to trash the country unless Andromeda was sacrificed. I guess you could make a case that things turned out well for Andromeda in the end, but that's kind of backhanded "compliment" since she's often depicted as lightskinned in contrast to her countrymen and that aspect being part of her "beauty" to Perseus.
  • Disabled: Lamia, cursed to no-eyelids. Tiresias, after he detransitioned he got cursed with blindness. Not only that, but the culture itself dictated that a beautiful form was indicative of a healthy mind. "Beautiful" and "Good" were basically synonymous.
  • Mentally Ill: The Greek gods treated mental illness as a punishment. If you were crazy, the belief was that you'd pissed them off in some way. Hera, for example, didn't like Hercules, so she made him go crazy and kill his whole family. Also, remember Aura? After she got raped she went batshit, gave birth to twins, then ate one of them.
I want to see these people teleported to viking times or something. Would be funny.

I have. Even had my tarot read by one of them once. It's a fun parlor game and it can be used as a springboard to reflect on yourself and your current situation, but the people who take it way too seriously and think it's absolute gospel or actually predicting the future are dipshits.
i have the jodorowsky deck but i stopped doing readings because too often it ended up in people crying. I am not magical, i am just an armchair psychologist and some people are really troubled, it feels scummy to get into territory that's way over my head and probe that during what comes down to creative association and cold readings.

But i actually really love the tarot and had a lot of fun reading some of the books on it, i really like Sallie Nichols's Jung and the Tarot. It doesn't read the future but it still is an interesting subject, there's definitely something about archetypes and symbols and the psychology and history behind them.

God these are lazy. A solid 6-outta-10 standing around in basic backgrounds and not even flashing nip? Why on Earth would you pay for this?
When it comes to Tarot I've seen such incredible art and creativity, these are utterly atrocious and incredibly lazy. Tarot decks are usually quite cheap so perhaps they're hoping to just get purchases for a burner deck.

Hard disagree on 6 out of 10 too.

I'm not critical of everything regarding it, but these kids NEED to realize that this is just lucid dreaming. Their denial of that is the most toxic part.

I'm not even sure I'd call it lucid dreaming but simply roleplaying or imagining things. It's not all that far off from LARPing. Most likely just insinuate themselves into the stories of their favorite fictional universes. Which apparently is going to remain to be Hogwarts for another few decades, at least it isn't the ASoIaF one.

It makes me genuinely sad to see that reality is so shitty that many would rather stay lost in a changeling fantasy, I know this isn't a new thing but for it to get so much support is incredibly unhealthy.

Shifting realities?

Now where have I heard that before?

Hey, I was just talking about this last night! Specifically about how sick I am of isekai anime.
Like the creator of this video essay, I'm tired of the isekai "genre".
I genuinely enjoyed things like "Magic Knights Rayearth" back in the day, but the premise has gotten to the point where stories that could be perfectly fine on their own get "in another world" or "person from this world" tacked on.
Makes sense as isekai:
  • "I'm a Spider, So What?" - The setting makes sense because the fact that all these people are originally from the same class in a school provides a way for the fantasy setting to examine teen relationships, etc.
  • "Reincarnated as a Slime" - Rimiru makes the decisions he makes because he's an adult man in his late 30s who has made all the dumb decisions of childhood and adolescence already
Isekai setting can easily be removed:
  • "Do You Love Your Mom And Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?" - Dumb name, dumb premise, could easily just be in a fantasy setting where a hero sets off on his journey but his mom is some kind of warrior
  • "I've Been Killing Slimes For 300 Years" - Just make it about a lazy witch
  • "My Next Life as a Villainess" - Besides the bit with her friend from the last life, you could easily make this about a girl who has a premonition of her future and decides to turn her life around
  • "First Night With the Duke" - This one being an isekai actually takes away from the story because why bother getting invested in the romance if the "real" version of the protagonist can just switch bodies back with her at any time?
It's like "my present circumstances changing" isn't good enough for escapism. The world we live in is seen as so inherently broken and stupid that you have to go to a completely different one for adventure and romance.
Back to the topic at hand, though. "Reality shifting" can mess with your brains in ways that can result in some incredibly intense and vivid dreams. If you've never experienced such a thing before it can really, really mess you up for a while when you wake up.

Oh yeah, that's a "gorgeous" park alright. This guy couldn't even bother to to it at night, huh?

"Nooo! Christians can't have nice things!"

See, here's the thing pal. I could make the ol' "Period blood" reference, but he's really got no argument here. It'd be one thing if it were "Men are better at magic" because then you can do the ol' CAIS card, but if you're saying "What makes a woman" I can just say "No Y chromosome" and call it a day.

"Only biological women can be witches" is historically wrong.

Not only were there male witches (not "warlocks"), there were eunuch occultists in classical antiquity.

So the trans witch thing has plenty of historical precedent, though maybe not of a type the current practitioners would care to think about.
