Personally I'd like to see Joel tackle the rest of Chulip. I know next to nothing about that game, but was fascinated when GG tried it so long ago. Shame they didn't finish it, and I highly doubt Joel will go back to it, but it's got so much weird, funny and just plain unsettling shit in it, I really want to see the rest! It's like that game is cursed or something.

I didn't know he played it, but this game isn't really worth it. It's a nice oddity on its own, but later "quests" are moon logic/sierra quest tier and you get barely any hints regarding them. Especially with how big the town and nearby territories are.
I don't know how far he got, but at some point there's a task that involves you buying a magnifying glass from some peddler, then bringing it to a sleeping monk all the way on the outskirts of town, so you could read code words on his forehead while he's sleeping, which then give you a hint as to which tombstones you gotta interact with in the cemetery. The trick is - if you interact with the wrong one, you get hit by lightning that kills you even if your heart level is relatively high, because it does some obscene damage.

I got through that and realized that yeah nah, this shit ain't worth it.

I never said I was annoyed by Joel doing that (It CAN grow tiresome, but otherwise can be funny and enetertaining), I just said prepare for that if it's not your sort of them.

Vinny and Joel are two completely different streamers that people will just lump together because they're the two main faces of Vinesauce. If you appriciate them separately for the different shit they offer, you'll appriciate them much more.

I think either Jen or Imakuni played all of Chulip. (I'm almost positive it was Jen.) I got to watch most of it because it was during a time where for some reason I would only sleep for like, two hours so I got sleep after watching Vinny and got up just in time to watch Jen. She had to play it emulated because that game is a pain in the ass to play.

I cannot remember what her username was at the time so I don't know how to check if she has it archived somewhere.

Bold of you to generalize and write me off as both a rabid fanboy AND a redditor because of your projections.
Vinny can be outright boring sometimes and he regurgitates the same topics over and over again, but that's pretty much what I need from my background noise simulator.
Feel free to point out my posts where I'm saying otherwise, or how much I miss him and other sappy nonsense. The only thing coming close would be referencing the greeting card, I think. Oh and the fact that this drama was really keeping me up at night, I guess, but every kind of major happening does that.
Man, the only thing lacking from your post wold be pulling a seniority card and telling me how much of a wisened up oldfag you are compared to me, then I could fill my bingo card.

Yeah, Vinny manages to beat FotM memes/jokes like a dead horse.
Though there are times where he'll manage to push the boundaries of the joke or misremembering how it goes, botching it so poorly it's funnier listening to him awkwardly trying to get it right. Like the Armor Shop Cat in Trials of Mana:

that's what i love about him... maybe not live during a stream where you can't skip to the funny but i love that humor of his. bonus points if the joke wasn't even that good

From what I've read, even if he does continue, I feel it's a pretty low chance he'd finish it. It's probably a better game to watch streamed than play yourself, So I'd still like to see someone I like tackle it.

Quick and dirty youtube search reveals that Rev has some Chulip videos, yet no Jen or Ima.
