i still cant believe he tried to brag about eating an an expensive ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET. he tried to make it sound fancy that he ate a fucking chocolate mousse because it had a chocolate spoon. wow. as if you cant buy spoon chocolate molds and just dump chocolate in there
"Nigger rich" transcends race.

I like how he segued from Karen-whining about too many people out and about, how nobody cares about COVID-19, into bragging about visiting an expensive buffet.

Only the King of 'Bate is allowed to feast in public during a pandemic, go home peons!
Its been like this everytime he's ventured outside of his house this past year- he complains and talks shit about the people out at the same places he also goes to.

Just pick a side- if you're in favor of lockdowns and staying home, then stay home and don't do non-essential things like haircuts, eating inside restaurants, going to the mall, etc. The people I've known who feel this way are genuinely scared of the virus and wouldn't go out at all even if they were allowed.

If you think the lockdowns are bullshit and just want to continue to live your life as normal as possible and want businesses to be able to operate, then just say thats how you feel.

Only someone like dsp could flip flop on this issue. He seems to be in favor of the more hardcore covid responses for everyone else but when it comes to himself, he wants to be able to do whatever he wants.

All this to say, dsp is a hypocrite. Groundbreaking conclusion, I know.

i guess thats phil in a nutshell. i mean his birthday cake he was so impressed that it had bananas inside the batter,as if it was some gourmet advanced technique
Really simple, common things are impressive to the ignorant. This is why curiosity about the world around you and a thirst for knowledge and experience are important; life opens up like a fucking book when you take the time to learn about the How and Why of things and you quickly begin to realize both how truly large existence is and how incredibly capable you can be as a human being to directly affect the space you occupy. Even a slug like Phil has wells of potential and he willingly leaves them untapped because he's terrified by the world and would rather commit slow suicide by locking himself in a dusty room to be laughed at by internet strangers.

I think Phil really emphasized this when he was talking about shopping shortly after (or possibly even shortly before?) lockdown really became a thing. He acted like it was a big deal he was able to buy items without people being in a panic and fighting over items. Along the same lines, when he talks about why he doesn't shop at Walmart for basically the same reasons, thinking it's a public brawl or something. You only get that level of paranoid when you're constantly shut in your house, refusing to step outside the few safe spaces you've gotten used to, which for Phil, sounds like the mall and Kat's place of work, assuming that's where he does his grocery shopping.

I think that's a large part of why he's struggling with any of his medical appointments. Well, the vaccine at least, I think the ear infection nonsense is just a lie, and that's why an appointment never materialized. But with the vaccine, you can tell how scared he is to go without his mom taking him.

thats definitely some mental health issue. 10 years ago it was the same for me.i wouldnt even go to the convenience store 5 minutes from home, couldnt call anyone to make appointments, etc

The only Capcom game I really played was Super Puzzle Fighter. So I know who Dan is. Is Sean like a Dan character? You play as him to dunk on your opponent?

"Haha scrub! I beat you with Dan!"

"Fuck you! You downloaded cheats from the internet!" unplugs the playstation and takes it to their room.

(real story)
Pretty much, Dan was originally a meme character Capcom added as a shot at SNKs Art of Fighting (wears a Ryo gi, long hair like Robert and in pink like Yuri) his fireball is shit because that's how the AoF mechanics works you had a ki meter the lower it was the weaker the move.

You gotta give it to Phil. While thots can stream their tits and automatically receive $200 tip or more, Phil has to actually WORKKKK for a measly $50 tip.

Disagree. Say what you will about Twitch thots, but they work so much harder than DSP. They have to even pretend to be polite to their paypigs.

I do recall Phil saying Tokido made some mention of their "rivalry", but was just simple reply, also, their rematch never happened. Phil was hyping up Winterbrawl while talking about the rematch and Tokido was going to Final Round, an entirely different tourney, which Phil said he was going to. Winterbrawl was also the last out-of-state tourney Phil ever went to because 1. he pressed a button too hard and got a jolt in his arm or some shit and 2. people weren't letting him record tourney footage anymore.

If I remember correctly, someone linked Tokido to the video of DSP "calling out" Tokido, and all Tokido did was reply "You'll make me put on my murderface" (to paraphrase). He probably barely remembered DSP by that point, and it was just a video with a lot of views at the time calling him outside so he just joked along with it.

I have a theory about DSP's burps. DSP was a fan of Howard Stern. Howard Stern spent some years occasionally burping on mic. DSP thought this was hilarious and did what he is wont to do, and stole what he saw as a gimmick, completely missing the entire reason for Stern burping: doing what you're not supposed to do on radio, angering people who he saw as too sensitive, etc. He also did not intenionally lean into the mic to burp, nor did he do it that often. DSP continuing to mangle stolen comedy routines.

The funny thing is Goji's main has brutalized Phil in the past. While Goji's Sean is on point his Alex is....devastating. Those matches where Goji is using Alex can be seen in LWO's "The legend of Gojitenks" and you can watch Goji just...systematically tear Phil apart. The last time I laughed that hard was Phil's 2005 EVO match against Tokido.

Never forget, World #1 Alex aka Tevin said he learned moves for SF5 Alex from watching Goji's Alex.

He doesn't feel it coming up, thats why he preemptively leans and beats his chest and pushes on his gut in order to force them out?

Not only that but then aggressively moan and groan into the mic while leaned in post-burp.

It's Phil's world and we're all just morahns taking up space

Yeah, the developers said that in Third Strike they made him as shitty as he is on purpose because of "muh lore". Most of his normals look identical to Ryu and Ken's, it's just that they're shittier on purpose (worse frames after block and hit, so he gets less advantage). His specials are similarly fucked unless you use meter since they have poor frames. His only saving grace is that you can combo his supers into big damage combos, and even without them his damage output is okay.
When you beat someone with Sean it's like beating someone in a street race while driving a Yugo.

Also, at this point I'm convinced that Dave is either abusing a lag switch or that there's some other kind of fuckery going on when he is forced to face Goji. Whenever he has to face him now the connection quality plummets and there's multiple visible lag spikes. This goes against what other tractors have been saying when playing Goji (he has a good connection) as well as early matches against Goji before he got himself a rent-free apartment in Dave's head, those matches very rarely had lag spikes.

It's just like how he keeps insisting that he's a mature adult. If you have to say it, you ain't it.
*blows bubbles*
”I’m not a children’s entertainer.”
I’m convinced he says these things in order to delude himself.

Im a bit tired. What am i lookin here? Mature: No?
He hasn't tagged his channel as "Mature content". Meaning he's not an adult only channel. Of course no channel on Twitch truly is, but it's pretty much a statement to make. Phil actively seeks to entertain children. It also makes your brand safety score a little higher. Fucking algorithms...

Sean isn’t supposed to be a joke character, he just happens to be the worst character in 3rd Strike. He’s one of the best characters in 2nd Impact.

Sean is just bad due to how 3S works, not because he's a meme character. Alex is also bottom tier yet people have won the Coop Cup (best 3S tourney in the world) with him. You can kinda play both to dunk on people extremely hard, but you can also do that playing a higher tier character like Urien and doing unblockable setups or clapping them with Hugo.

The meme character in 3S is Twelve, who's best super is to become the opponent and his combos leave him open to punishes.

I would say Twelve is far worse than Sean.

He's definite trash but not as bad as Twelve. Remy/Alex who are considered kinda bad (although Pierrot redeemed Remy) are better than Sean in the same manner he's better than Twelve imho.

Also Sean's sister is a qt.

I'm just imagining a 5-star restaurant with mandatory Suit/Tie and everyone is lined up holding empty plates to eat mediocre food on warmers.

Nothing screams FANCY more than a person weighing your food on a scale to charge you for the leftover slop you want to take home.

Wanna bet Phil made Kat stuff her purse with food to save money?
