Been watching all of the happenings and lurking around. Finally got a stream in on Sunday had a good time catching up with the Birthday Week.

Sounds like this new rant is worth a listen. I find it fascinating that Phil gets so heated about things outside the Snort Fort. He is a Hermit who's window to the world is Bird App.

Has he made a hot take about the newest Police involved shooting in Minnesota? I love watching him find a way to make everything about him.

That was a nice break away from this shit.

Says millions of people took the vaccine but there is no easy way for him to get it. Then says he would have to make phone calls all day to get the vaccine even though people have real jobs have managed to do it. Complains about them pulling one of the vaccines because of blood clots even though he would be the first in line to sue if it happened to him or Kat.

I don't mean to get all Tumblr-y up in here but I'd like to for a moment because this is a stereotype with which I have a great deal of experience.

This is Old White American Male Asshole talk, down to the core. It has every tenet. The unasked-for, wholly ignorant opinion. The self-victimization. The blaming of a faceless, nameless enemy. The eventual shrugging of the shoulders to impotently accept things as they are because the alternative, doing something about it, is just too much fucking bother.

Phil talks like every stupid white blue collar asshole in his sixties who acts like life has run them over at every turn when in reality they could've made a go at a real life but instead opted for the easy, immediate comforts and getting blindsided by the world every six to ten months.

The difference of course being that Phil hasn't worked in a machining shop for thirty-five years thereby giving at least a reason for his willful ignorance if not an excuse. He's college-educated and has been handed opportunities to learn better and decided as a rule to ignore them because having other people to blame is easier.

Phil in reality should be ranting like this at his TV every night watching the news, as everybody in his house ignores him ("uh-oh he's at it again") but through a twist of fate he's doing it into a webcam and microphone on the Internet instead. JFC Phil, you literally should be last in line to get vaccinated. You chose to live in a metropolitan hellhole. There are literally millions of people who should be in front of you to get vaccinated.

I can't wait for the rant when his wife gets it because she actually has a job outside the house but still Phil can't because he's a shut-in in one of the lowest risk categories.

I've said it before of people in Phil's risk category who start acting like spastic germaphobes with a victim complex over this, 'If you are acting like this over a flu virus strain that you personally have a 99.7% of surviving you aren't afraid of catching it and dying, you are afraid of living.'

It wasn't even hard where I live. I just filled out online forms for 3 different places and got a callback from one the next day, appointment at the end of the week. Of course Phil is bitching about something that isn't even available to him because his highly populated metro area is backed up, so he's just bitching to bitch.

We'll see what his excuse next week is for why he isn't trying to get it. As if he can't mute his mic and make calls on speaker-phone while playing video games, or take 3 seconds to apply online at anytime he wants.

He doesn't want to marginalise his viewerbase, politics is a really polarising thing (it seems more so in America where third parties are "wasted votes" and it always comes down to republican or democrat)

I'm sure Phil wants to blame those bleeding heart liberals for all his troubles but he can't.

He can't even vote because us mentally ill nudniks would find out which party he voted for.

The problem is this is Philip "DarkSyde King Of Hate" Paul Burnell, who has made his head canon that he's the most honest and real guy on the internet, and he wants his rambling luke warm uninformed opinions to spark a conversation (that he will ban any dissent) so his content can be meaningful. So when he's got a fencepost shoved up his ass or he follows whatever uninformed Twitter sperging gets him hot about, it's hilariously disingenuous at best or dumbfuckery of the highest order at worst.

I wonder if DSP is ever bothered by the thought of how much more money he could be making doing the exact same thing if he weren't a miserable toxic piece of shit with no talent?
